Täysin uusittu huoneisto, jossa AC-keskus, tarjoaa ylellisyyttä asumisessa kauniissa Oceanfront-ympäristössä. Se on täysin varustettu 55 tuuman taulu-TV: llä, king-size-vuoteella, mukavalla vuodesohvalla perheellesi tai ystävillesi, keskusvirta, tilava kylpyhuone ja turhamaisuus tarjoamaan enemmän tilaa valmistautuaksesi erityiseen illalliseen Mauilla. Ylelliset liinavaatteet, untuvapeitteet, tyynyt (Monet vieraistamme kysyvät, mitä lakanoita käytämme ostaaksemme heille nauttiaksesi kotona!)

Liota auringossa kannen lepotuoleilla, josta on näkymät veteen, kävele rannalle ja katso, voitko havaita merikilpikonnissa uivan kilpikonnan tai laittaa varusteesi ja snorklata kuuluisan kirkkaan veden. Kun olet uinut valtameressä tai uima-altaassa, huuhtele suola ja aurinkovoide äskettäin muistutetussa suihkussa ja tuo trooppinen juoma kuistilla siemailemaan kun katsot auringonlaskua Molokai-saaren yli.

Valon ja aivan meren loistavien vihreiden ja blues-tulvien kanssa yksiköiden sisätilat ovat valoisat, nykyaikaiset. Löydät ruokakaupan kadun toisella puolella, ravintoloita ja kauppoja Whalers Villagessa 10 minuutin päässä, ja vielä enemmän vaihtoehtoja Lahainan keskustassa 15 minuutin päässä. Tee retki Ka'anapalin golfkentältä, joka on 10 minuutin päässä, varaa retki 15 minuutin päässä olevasta Lahainan satamasta tai vaellu dramaattisten vulkaanisten maisemien läpi Haleakalan kansallispuistossa, 48 mailin päässä. Perfect location right on the ocean

This condo is well appointed with everything you need, in a great location and responsive property management. It was very quiet and parking was easy. The lanai is awesome with a table, chairs, couch and two lounge chairs. The condo is showing some wear and tear, but the decor is cute. We did see one dying cockroach on the floor – the cleaning staff likely sprays for bugs when they come clean (& we saw bug killer in the cupboard. The lanai has many birds flying over and so a little bird poop did keep reappearing on the chairs and decking. The bedroom is not ocean facing so no relaxing waves to put you to sleep at night. But the family room and lanai have full ocean views. Within walking distance, you will find a good food truck court, a supermarket, a restaurant and more.None of the critiques would not prevent us from staying there again, but I think it’s helpful to read reviews that are honest.

Location

The location was perfect for everything. Eating out. Snorkeling off the beach. Listening to the waves. I recommend trying a cinnamon roll from Papi’s Ohana but expect a wait and trying a meal at Java Jazz for an eclectic experience. Overall it was a memorable time which I hope to repeat in the future at this property.Mahalo Cheryl

Fabulous stay and great location

The condo was exactly as described. Everything was spotless when we arrived. The added outdoor space was a definite bonus. Loved having the outdoor eating area and lounge chairs. The condo complex is a little outdated, but condo 201 had updated appliances and furniture. We also loved being able to open the sliding glass doors and listen to and view the ocean. We didn’t use the pool or other facilities, but everyone there was very nice and helpful. Close to many restaurants and also a cute food truck area. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend this condo to everyone looking to stay in this area.

Hidden gem

This is the second time we have stayed in the Maui Kai condos and we are hooked! This unit was really beautiful. We stayed for a month and the lanai area is perfect for when you have visitors or guests for dinner. I hesitate to say how great it is because it’s getting harder to get a unit here! Maui Kai is literally on the water and there is snorkeling and paddle boarding, just steps away. We saw an octopus, a ray, an eel, and many fish while snorkeling, and the whales in front of the unit are too many to count! A true hidden gem.

We Loved Our Stay Here

Beautiful Lanai!

My husband and I really enjoyed the lanai - early mornings and cocktail time. I probably misread info regarding washer and dryer, but they are not located in the unit. It is coin laundry on same floor - past elevators. Overall an enjoyable stay, plenty of room (small bathroom). And well appointed. Would stay again.

Everything Excellent

We stayed at the Maui Kai previously so we knew its right on the beach for the morning walks, great pool area, small so easy access to parking and the unit, however, the actual condo was excellent. The lanai on the side which was private and flanked by palm trees, added a whole other dimension to our stay. Yoga in the mornings and great rainbow and turtle viewing. We ate all our home meals there and it was well furnished and had everything we needed. Not too "themey" yet with an island vibe on the inside. Within easy walking distance of a grocery store, food trucks including an excellent place to grab morning coffee, Java restaurant and Duke's. Maui Puts a Smile on Our Face

I have had a couple of weeks to reflect on our trip and the one thing I noticed from my family and I is we have not been the same since. This is our second trip to Maui (the first was without kids) and we stayed at the Maui Kai. I have to say we still miss it. When you live in Alaska, you start to appreciate vacations more because of the vast difference in temperatures throughout the year, that is 146 degrees difference in 6 months. Our trip was great in many ways, but one thing to note is that the room we picked was the best choice we could have made for value, comfort, and family approval. The kids loved the private porch, the hours upon hours at the pool, and the ability to grill fantastic steaks on the provided grills. My wife loved the privacy and the fact that the room did not feel like a boring motel/hotel room. Full disclosure: I debated leaving a review for this room for selfish reasons so it's not booked up when we come back, but that attitude would not have done the owners justice in the long run. Thanks for reading this, and I hope you enjoy it!

A great place

As Oceanfront as you can get!

The unit has spectacular panoramic windows overlooking the ocean and beach. The windows and screens open wide to allow fresh air and sounds of the sea into the apartment. The location is great for accessing Kaanapali beach. The lanai off of the living space is huge, only two units in the building have that, and it's great for sunbathing, socializing, and watching the sunset. We had an issue with the room safe, but the property management was very responsive in helping us get our belongings out before we had to leave to catch our flight. Overall, a 5 star rating.

Great location and comfortable getaway.

We had a great time in the condo. Very easy access to the beach, clean, and the deck was amazing. Kitchen was stocked with some seasonings and everything we needed to cook and enjoy meals at the condo. We loved the ocean views during the day and opening the front windows to hear the peaceful sound of waves crashing in the evening. Closing the windows kept it quiet and peaceful inside. The lanai (outside deck) was splendid, and we enjoyed it but having coffee in the morning, lunch, and drinks outside where we could watch the sunset, see whales, turtles out front, and fish jumping. Chairs and basic umbrellas in the beach bin were a great bonus. Bathroom was simple, clean, and had all the necessary functions. Bedroom was clean, quiet, option for fan or A/C, spacious closet with plenty of room for suitcases and clothes. Condo is close to nearby supermarket. Easy walks on the beach. Overall, I would definitely stay again.

Epic Views!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Maui Kai #201. The overall property is a bit dated, but unit #201 has been updated and was very comfortable. The property is close to the beach and a short walk or drive to amusements/restaurants etc. The 180 degree ocean views from the large Lanai and from the front room of the condo were exceptional!!! We saws whales jumping everyday during our stay. My wife and I were very careful with cleaning up after ourselves after eating, and with following the properties instructions regarding taking care of your trash, so ants were not a problem for us. I would stay at this property again if we ever returned to Maui. Thank you Maui Paradise Properties for your assistance during out stay.

Great location, but…

This unit is lovely and in a fabulous location if looking for proximity to the ocean/beach. We love the sights, sounds and smells of the ocean, so were delighted to be right at the edge of it all. The Maui Kai complex itself is rather dated, and the entry to this unit is unappealing and dark, but inside it’s bright, sunny and very well equipped. We never used the A/C because there’s such a wonderful breeze from the large front window. We lost count of the whales we saw and had fun snorkeling off the beach a short walk from the unit. Sea turtles and fish galore. With such a happy report on the unit, why 3 stars instead of 5? We paid 50% more for this unit than others in the complex with the same view for one reason: the large lanai with unobstructed ocean view. Indeed, it was fabulous in the morning and afternoon - but at dusk cockroaches come out. The first night we noticed them as we sat out enjoying the evening breeze, and promptly went inside. The second night we bought roach spray and sprayed several (6) so we could stay outside. The third night we sprayed a few more feeling proud that we weren’t chased inside - and then my husband felt something crawling up his leg under his pants. He shook out a 2 inch cockroach and we went inside never to try again enjoying the evening breeze. Not being entomologists, this cast a pall over our enthusiasm for the unit. Over 39 years, we’ve traveled to many tropical locations around the world and never seen a cockroach at our lodging. This is not a “tropical thing”; it’s an infestation thing. I let the management company know when we left that there’s a nest or two under the lanai and they say they’ll send an exterminator. I can only hope they do, because until that’s taken care of it’s not worth the elevated cost for use of the lanai. They mentioned I should have let them know earlier in the week so they could do something about it, but frankly we weren’t interested in having a major fumigation effort happening while we were there, for health reasons as well as privacy ones.

A Grand View of Paradise

This was a wonderful place to call home for a couple of weeks. The bed was comfy, the kitchen adequately stocked and the lanai...my goodness the lanai! It was perfect for enjoying a meal, morning yoga or a kettlebell sesh, sunbathing, and a perfect seat to watch the sunset. The only constructive criticism I have is the blades on the ceiling fan were dusty and require some attention. Other than that our stay was perfect! Thank you for sharing your lovely space with us. We will certainly be back in the near future!

Good and Bad

The good…. phenomenal views (just as pictured), nicely decorated, great kitchen, short walk to resort boardwalk and great beaches, quiet building and a huge deck. The bad… the unit was starting to show some maintenance issues especially significant water damage around the windows, hazy windows, some peeling paint, and issues using exterior windows. Also, the building is a bit tired and “motel” feeling with cinder block walls and dated underwhelming entry / exterior hallways. While the water is incredibly close (awesome sounds to sleep to), it’s also a bit frustrating to have to walk through the public park to get to a usable one. The deck is quite nice but also flooded with light at night from the neighboring building. While the unit does have some amazing features the flawed are significant. The unit is in need of some TLC, and overall experience isn’t consistent with the views and pics given age and nature of the property.

Fantastic place to stay

Great condo right on the water, you can walk to Duke’s and the beach. Just a lovely place if you don’t like resort crowds and noise.

Great Location, view and condo.

Check in was easy and property manager was easy to communicate with and quick to respond. The unit was clean and had everything we needed. Washer and dryer weren’t in the unit but it was quite convenient to have it on the same floor and just a few steps outside the front door. Our first night we slept with the windows open so we could hear the water outside. It did get quite loud and I was sorta over it after that, my husband wasn’t but he is a heavier sleeper. It was nice during the hours we were awake. The breeze. The sound of waves. It really was great. However at bedtime, We had the windows closed after that and it did the trick. Windows are a pretty good sound barrier. We were very comfortable with the ac in the unit. Only used it when we needed it. The breeze coming in and the fact we were out of the condo more than in the condo meant it wasn’t always needed. But definitely worked when we did use it. There was everything we needed in the kitchen. Only cons, because, Even paradise has to have a con somewhere. I wish there was more bath towels. We washed ours but there was only a couple. The vacuum in the u it was a great idea. Sand always gets everywhere. But it didn’t work too well. The small broom was…. A small broom. A kitchen, house broom would have been a little Better. The water comes right up to the sea wall. So no beach but it is a few steps to the right. Not a big deal. There is beaches everywhere!! Overall…. We would stay again. We absolutely would.
