This condo made our whole vacation. The island was beautiful, but nothing beat our own private front row seat of the ocean from our balcony. We left the patio doors open and could hear the waves crashing all night long and could feel the gentle breeze blowing in…so relaxing. The condo was beautifully decorated, meticulously clean, and well stocked. It had everything we needed and more. We especially loved having a cooler, beach chairs, and umbrella. I appreciated having binoculars, as I was able to see sea turtles basking on the rocks near the shore. Amazing!While we did excursions and toured the entire island, the highlight of our trip was coming home to our one view of the sunset and waking up to the waves and gentle breeze from our own beachfront condo. While I doubt we would return to Hawaii again, if we did, I book this condo every single time.

Location and complex were great. Parking below the building was pefect. Parking was never an issue for space. Everything was clean and well maintained. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The beds and couch were comfortable. The host was always quick in responding to our questions and I absolutely would stay here again.

Beautiful view and beautiful unit. We stayed here for two weeks and would 100% stay here again in a heartbeat. Holly was a wonderful host from the moment we booked until the moment we left. The unit had *everything* you could need and the was totally updated. The lanai is very large and very private and, like others noted, falling asleep to the waves crashing on the beach was amazing.

This was a package of delights. The refurbished unit was well coordinated, amenities were spot on, and the host was very responsive. I wasn’t saying “I wish…”, but rather, “This unit has it all.”I need special amenities for my spouse who has some limitations. The elevator was a plus. The grab bars in the primary bathroom, a bonus.And, the lanai was fabulous. I looked at the other lanais and ours was the best equipped and tastefully designed. The two club chairs were a nice addition.The host clearly cares about the property and those who are using it. Shout out to Holly!

Great condo what a view. This place is amazing. If u want to be right on the ocean this your place. Loved everything about this place. Most amazing place to watch a sunset. Everything was clean with the exception of the kitchen counters where we kept find these little insects on the counter that got worse as the week went on. They didn’t look harmful but we kept all our food in the fridge.

We absolutely loved our stay at this condo! The location was perfect—close to everything we needed, yet peaceful and relaxing. The unit itself was exactly as pictured online: beautifully maintained, thoughtfully decorated, and incredibly comfortable.The lanai was a dream. We spent hours out there soaking in the stunning ocean views and watching surfers glide across the waves every single day. A fun surprise was discovering that the lanai chairs reclined—game changer! It made our morning coffee and sunset lounging even more enjoyable. I’ll be including photos because the views truly speak for themselves.Inside, the condo was cool and comfortable thanks to the AC and ceiling fans, which made sleeping a breeze (literally). The kitchen was impressively stocked with everything we needed to cook meals, which we appreciated after long days exploring.One of the highlights of our trip was attending the luau at the Royal Kona. We Ubered there for convenience, but ended up walking back. Check-in was seamless, and Holly was fantastic—super responsive and helpful with any questions we had. Her hospitality made the experience even better.We’d absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, scenic, and well-equipped

Great Views and Great Accommodations!

My husband and I made a trip to the islands for our 30th wedding anniversary. The big island was our first stop of two islands and this condo did not disappoint. We started our days with coffee on the balcony and watched the surfers catch waves, and on a couple of the mornings we were able to view pods of dolphins jumping and spinning. Truly spectacular! The condo itself was very well stocked with everything we needed and more, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. If you're visiting the Big Island, we highly recommend this jewel on the coast of Kona!Aloha!

Amazing views from this beautifully redone unit. The furniture was comfortable and the place was spic and span clean. Perfect location for different experiences as snorkeling tour was 15-20 minutes north and manta ray and volcano to the south. We were in touch with Holly a number of times and she was easy to work with especially when we needed advice during the tsunami warning. Would absolutely return to this place when and if we get the chance. :)

The Kona Bali Kai condo is one of the nicest VRBOs I've ever stayed in. The condo is fully stocked with everything you may need. The beds were very comfortable and we all slept very well. The location is amazing. You are right on the ocean. The sound of the waves crashing was beautiful. I would stay here again!!!

Tha apartment is cute and has sufficient equipment. We enjoyed having 2 bathrooms and the extra bedoom to speadout. The company managing this unit is not part of Bali Kai, however the Bali Kai people are very riendly and helpful.THe best part is proximity to the sound of the waves and being on the 3rd floor it has a wonderful aspect.Recommended for those who love the sound of the waves.

Mahalo, for a wonderful stay at this beautiful waterfront property that is everything it represents online and more! It was newly renovated and they thought of everything when it came to having the condo well stocked with things you’d need for a great stay. It is close to town for dining and centrally located to explore everything the Big Island has to offer. The decor, the vibe and the ocean front views will have you wanting to stay longer. Amazing get-away

This apartment had the best location; close to swimming/snorkelimg and close enough to downtown/shops/restaurants. I have been to the island many times at this point and this apartment had the best furnishings and beds by far. The views from the lanai were amazing and we spent much time exploring the tide pools (even seeing multiple turtles). Will definitely stay here again!

The property is gorgeous! It has all the amenities you need - from the kitchen, bedroom, bathrooms even towels for the beach. The views are stunning and I love hearing the ocean. The back bedroom doesn't get enough air conditioning from the main unit and the fan is ok, but I'd have preferred a small unit just for that room. A minor thing is to have the curtains completely cover the windows so the sunlight didn't wake me up. Otherwise, it was great!

Excellent unit w/ views

We had an excellent stay. Ocean, palm trees, sunset, surfers all visible from the balcony. Hearing the waves throughout the day and night was relaxing. Location is pretty good, close to the restaurants, bars and shopping. Da Poke Shack is in the same building and there is a convenience mart across the street. 60 second walk if you need simple things. Parking is easy and there is an elevator if you need it.Everything was as pictured. Very efficient/easy to use AC system. Sunset views every night. Surfers every day. A couple small beaches and tide pools downstairs, beach chairs in the unit. Clean and comfy beds, couch, etc. Host was communicative. No complaints!
