Building is in poor shape inside and out. Sides of the bed had stains. Worst thing was all the pot smoking. It was in the hallways and when we turned out bathroom fan on the smell came into are room. I would never stay they again. Nice town to visit , usually go to Paw Paw, Kalamazoo area 1 - 2 times a year but will remember to stay away from the Comfort in in Paw Paw.

We just did an overnight stay due to traveling. It seemed clean. Just needs updating. Staff was friendly.

It was obvious that it is an older hotel, smoke detector hanging from wires from ceiling, you could tell things had been taken off the walls, but never patched or repainted the area.
The king size bed had been well slept on, i was all over that bed trying to get comfortable. There was no pillow left in that pillowtop.
The tv wouldn't change channels.
Didn't get up early enough for breakfast, so i can't tell you about that.
The safety lock for the door had a metal pin missing that was replaced with a screw, that picture is the onmy one i took.
The room itself was clean and it served it's purpose, i needed somewhere to sleep and shower for a couple nights.
Inexpensive hotel, close to “downtown” with lots of food options, and right next to the highway for convenience.
2 things really stuck out though, that should be agnostic of price:
1. There’s no smoking signs everywhere. My room was non-smoking. There’s a sign in the lobby that says all hotels in the state have been smoking-free since like 2012… and yet my room smelled like an ashtray. Like, really bad.
2. My towels were dirty, so much so that I drove to Walmart and bought a new towel to use during my stay.
lots of people smoking weed around property. including some of the employees. The carpet looked like it was from the 70's not clean. The windows were dirty.
Room door wouldn't open. Had to get someone at desk to open it. Had to push very hard to open. TV wasn't working - had to again get someone at desk to help. Cable wasn't plugged in. No coffee when I went down to check out. Fruit looked like it had been there for a few days.
Room is advertised as including breakfast but desk staff informed me that there was only coffee and juice. Peeling paint in bathroom and bed cover had multiple stains.
