This property was great for us. We really appreciated the beautiful sunrises every morning and being able to sit on the lanai or walk on the beautiful beach. The location in Kapa’a was so convenient to groceries, and stores and some really excellent restaurants. Being in Kapa’a also allowed us to take excursions from a central home base, which was very nice for planning our days. The pool was there to cool off or lay out. Everything in the apartment worked well—the kitchen had everything we needed to do a lot of cooking. We made our own smoothies and piña coladas in the blender. We made use of the grill and enjoyed ping pong in the rec room a couple times. The masks, snorkels, beach chairs and mat got used almost every day. They seemed to have almost everything we needed to enjoy Kauai, including a great guide book and other useful literature. In short, our stay was really great.Everyone has their own expectations and so this may not be important to you. A couple of issues we had were the condition of the apartment being a bit dated and kind of stark and we felt the floors and baseboards and windows could be a bit cleaner. There was some noise from upstairs neighbors that was a little jarring at times, but that’s probably mostly on them, rather than this property. Anyway, weighing everything we really enjoyed our stay and feel it was a great choice for us.
