Beautiful sweeping views across hectares of olive and cypress treetops to the sparkling Ionian Sea complement this elegant home, situated close to the emblematic port of Fiskardo (4km) and its adjacent beach Emplisi (3.5km) as well as the lovely little beach of Alaties (5km) where the friendly waterside taverna is renowned not just for tasty food but as a sought-after spot for sunset cocktails.
A welcoming and friendly feel permeates this stylish property which has been very thoughtfully designed for relaxed summer living and even incorporates a lovely self-contained studio off the lower pool terrace that will particularly appeal to parties of mixed ages, perhaps including a teenager(s), nanny, grandparents or, indeed, anyone who would appreciate an added degree of privacy whilst still being very much part of holiday proceedings.

As you enter into the open plan living, dining and kitchen area on the upper level a markedly relaxed tone is immediately apparent. Comfortable soft furnishings enhanced by a fresh décor of neutral and semi-neutral tones set a trend that continues throughout the house. Both from here and the adjacent double bedroom, doors open onto a wide, shaded balcony from where those views of the infinity-edged pool, countryside and coastline beyond are, nothing less than hugely impressive.

Stairs lead down to a further two, very tastefully appointed double bedrooms, each with en suite facilities and doors directly onto the gorgeous pool terrace, a ‘showstopper’ in itself and surely destined to become the centre of attention during lazy summer days. To one side a substantial covered barbecue sits ready for al fresco mealtimes, on the other a good size pergola provides tempting shade just a few steps from the wide Roman steps of your private pool.

Sitting just below the pool area, multi-generational families and friends alike will enjoy the independence of that separate self-contained studio while the surrounding grounds are attractively dotted with flower beds, fruit trees and a charming octagonal, covered sitting/dining area somewhat reminiscent of a Victorian folly.

Antipata (450m) is home to two tavernas plus a minimarket for essentials; Agia Jerusalem Beach (and family-run Odysseas Taverna) is under 6km away, while several other local beaches including Dafnoudi (2.5km), Kimilia and Foki are all within a similarly easy distance. Fiskardo is the place to go for scuba diving trips, boat hire, ferries to nearby islands and excellent amenities including a wide selection of shops and waterfront restaurants clustered around its picturesque harbour.

Use of the self-contained studio is included in the Large Party Rate only. Some terracing around the grounds means that younger children may need supervision. The continental double bed can be prepared as two singles, please request at time of booking.
Please note: The Greek Government charge a Climate Tax which is payable by guests staying in hotels and other properties. For Vryonis the charge is a flat rate of €15 (£13.04) per night. For your convenience we will add this amount to your booking, rather than you having to pay it in resort.
