The Space:
South Lodge is a delightful single-storey lodge situated in an isolated position on the owners' farm, six miles from Kendal. This lodge has two bedrooms, consisting of a double with walk-in wardrobe and a twin, together with a shower room. The lodge also has an open plan living area with a kitchen, dining area and a sitting area with electric fire. Outside there's off road parking for two cars and a wrap-around decked area with patio and steps up to a lawned garden. South Lodge is a great Lake District base. Note: This properties changeover day is Saturday therefore bookings must start or finish on a Saturday.
The Neighborhood:
Kendal is an historic Lakeland town set on the banks of the River Kent and is known as the Southern Gateway to the Lakes. Its old cobbled lanes and byways branch off the attractive main street, and the stone ruins of 12th century Kendal Castle sit perched on a hill with views over the town.
