Field House is a 400 year old farm that is full of old world charm - oak beams, oak floorboards & a slate floor. We have sympathetically restored this old slate building to its former glory, plus added all the mod cons, including a hot tub, a kingsize four-poster bed, underfloor heating, double glazing and a log burner. This cosy cottage has panoramic vistas of Derwentwater, Skiddaw, Catbells, Maiden Moor, High Spy, Grange Fell, Black Crag, Troutdale Pinnacle, Shepherds Crag & Little Chamonix.

Field House is 400 year old with antique furniture, please do not expect it to look new.

Suits 2 couples. Not suitable for children. We do not accept any pets/animals for any reason.

*Please note: Uneven floors and stairs makes this unsuitable for the young, the elderly, or people with mobility issues. The low beams may cause a headache for anyone over 5'10"(177cm).
