Maui Sunset #B-303 is a charming third floor 1 bed 2 bath unit with a partial ocean view, fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, window unit air conditioning units in both the bedroom and the living room, and ceiling fans throughout. There is a king bed in the bedroom and the en suite bathroom includes a tub shower combo. The convenient second bathroom is equipped with a shower. A comfortable easy no fuss (no need to take out all the cushions) pull out queen sofa bed and cable television is provided in the living room. In addition, there is complimentary high speed wireless. This unit is also equipped with a twin sized murphy bed to accommodate a fifth guest.
Make sure to enjoy a meal on the lani which overlooks the picturesque Maui Sunset courtyard. For beach days, Maui Sunset #B-303 provides beach chairs and beach towels and there is a telephone provided for local calls. Maui Sunset #B-303 sleeps 5.
Same day bookings and those arriving within 48 hours of making the reservation require a phone call to Rentals Maui for confirmation.
Bookings made within 7 days of arrival will require an ID check and screening prior to confirmation.
Longer stays require additional terms and conditions. Please contact Rentals Maui for inquiries longer than 60 nights.

Maui Sunset is a fabulous oceanfront property in Kihei that has lush tropical landscaping, large pool which is heated during the winter months, hot tub, gas grills, work out room and tennis courts out on the beach for your use. Guests return here year after year which says a lot about this property. Windsurf, whale watch, walk the beach and enjoy magnificent sunsets.

The Maui Sunset complex was nice, but I absolutely wouldn't book this unit again. The front door to the condo kept coming open, which made me extremely nervous. We'd often leave and come back to find we just needed to nudge the door to get back in. The door to the balcony also didn't close tightly enough to lock. I tried to contact the property management company to see if someone could fix it, but we never heard back. The condo was also pretty dirty. Lots of dishes that were in the cupboard and hadn't been washed, once I pulled out a bowl and several dead flies fell down on me, and some sort of weird brown stain on the curtains.We contacted the property management company for help, but we never heard back. We actually ended up leaving, even knowing we wouldn't get a refund. The cleanliness was a bummer but not insurmountable, but the doors not closing was a non-starter for me. Especially with kids with us. One good thing is the complex itself was nice. Well maintained pool and hot tub area, free parking, easy beach access (though notably, very near a runoff area, so we were cautioned not to enter the water because of potential sewer runoff after recent heavy rains), and a nice courtyard in the middle. We were lucky to be there on a Wednesday to see the weekly live music - a real treat.Long story short -- nice complex, but if cleanliness or safety are a concern for you, I wouldn't recommend booking.

The overall stay was great & pleasant, as it has been over the last 3yrs of us staying at this property. There were 2 issues, that I advised the front office of, and was not able to reach out to the property owner for, as time or internet would not allow. 1st issue) and greatest concern was the ROACHES. There were several through out the kitchen area. 2nd issue) there was a super foul odor that came from the Murphy bed.. it was so bad, that we kept the patio door open and kept the MB door shut. It smells like a sour sweaty gym sock. I washed the bedding and changed it several times and still was pretty smelly.

Wonderful place to stay!

Maui Sunset is our favorite place to stay. The unit is beautiful: clean and spacious. Such a great location! The amenities are a huge plus, the pool and hot tub are the perfect temperatures and its name is more than fitting for its fantastic view of the sunset from the beach.

Excellent rental

The room was perfect for our party of 5. This rental provided some great amenities including a small cooler, snorkels, pickleball and tennis rackets, golf balls, beach towels and more. The grounds were clean, safe, quiet, and staff was friendly. I also appreciated that it supplied enough dish soap, toilet paper, garbage bags, and laundry soap to get through the week. It was beautiful watching the sunset each evening from the beach or the lanai. We’ll be bringing my folks and sibling's families to Maui Sunset next trip. We throughly enjoyed our stay!

Quiet Property right next to the beach - so close you can walk there. The property pool was nice and clean. There are foot washes next to the pool area to wash off sand if you decide to take a walk on the beach to watch the sunset - one of the best properties/area to watch the sunset right on the beach without having to drive anywhere else! Property owner/host provided beach stuff to use but we only used the towels. It is also near some dining areas.

Wonderful condo

We were very pleasantly surprised at this condo in Kihei. It was close to everything, and very nicely appointed. Everything was very clean, and the extra bathroom was amazing for our family of 5. The beach out front was calm, and the swimming pool was great. Showers both inside and outside to get the sand off. The condo itself had everything we needed, including a washer and dryer. Beds were very comfortable for all of us, and the A/C worked great. The sand toys, chairs and coolers were a big bonus and made our trip easy. Thanks so much for sharing your home -- we hope to be able to book it again in the future!

Good price on a nice condo. Place we well stocked with the usual kitchen, bath, and bedroom items. It was clean. Solid place for the price. We stayed ten days and spent most our time outside exploring the island. The condo provided a great place to come back to in the evening, get cleaned up, grill dinners on the bbq, and hit the pool or hot tub. Unit is very close to tennis and pickleball courts. Very convenient for a couple on an anniversary trip.

Great condo experience in Kihei

This is a well appointed condo in a conveniently located resort with good amenities. The management company was very responsive to our inquiries and we enjoyed our stay a great deal. There were a few minor maintenance issues consistent with a high turnover vacation rental, which the management company offered to address while we were there. We chose not to rent a car for our stay and found we could easily walk to groceries and a few restaurants. The bus stops right in front of the resort and is convenient and quick to most places in south Maui. I was disappointed that although there is a staff person at the office all day, they would not store our luggage for a couple of hours before and after check in/out time. The lanai is small but the view is great. It would be nice to have a light out there for evening dining. There is some traffic noise from Kihei road on the lanai and in the bedroom, but a few steps toward the ocean and all is forgotten. I really can’t overemphasize how nice it was to walk out to the pool and the beach park from the condo, and some volunteers even grow herbs and veggies to share.

Great Maui Homebase

This unit was EXACTLY as advertised. It was fully stalked with everything we could need on our trip down to an umbrella, to-go coffee cups, and a hard sided cooler. Would definitely stay here again!
