The bathroom smell and the toilet wasn't clean and giving out old cold coffee I was there for 4 days the only reason I stayed was because I couldn't get my payment back

We stayed here a year prior and the place was pretty good the few days we were there. Pretty quiet, pet friendly, nice staff. Fast forward to this October, the staff is still super friendly, easy to talk to and work with. Unfortunately, the place is dirty from top to bottom, halls reeked of smoke upstairs despite no smoking signs. They were nice enough to move us rooms when someone down the hall was smoking weed and my wife and 6mo. old son couldn’t sleep because of the smell. They do very minimal cleaning in the rooms. Maybe some vacuuming and wiping down countertops. But the carpeted floors were grimy and hadn’t been properly cleaned in a long time. My son crawled off his play mat and we had to take a screw and a penny he found on the floor in our room. Shower floor was blackened and smelled as well. Wouldn’t recommend. It’s very inexpensive but for very apparent reasons. You’re simply paying for the stay. No money is being put into proper care or maintenance of the facility at all outside the bare minimum. If taken care of, the spaces are nice. You get a kitchenette and a mini fridge, and a larger room than most hotels around…It could be an ideal spot for extended stays. Unfortunately, that $70/night price tag does not go too far in terms of how much it covers for cleaning and care of the place.

There are lots of convenient eating places and other daily necessity shopping nearby. The room was fairly quiet. My room was on the third floor, so it afforded a lot of privacy in that there were not any adjoining property with similar height that have a view into my room. Also, it was near the elevator, so it was convenient to come up to my room or to go down to the lobby to exit the premise. The stove worked well, I was able to heat my food quickly. The microwave and the standard sized refrigerator worked well.
