Although the communal areas were in very good condition, the stairwells and rooms are a bit tired. Located next to the lift, the noise of the lift was awful, it sounded as though someone was trying to break into the room every time the lift opened. The hotel has potential but it’s not been reached. Breakfast, which I thought was included turned out to be an additional £30, there’s a Whetherspoons nearby, which would have been much better value for money and better quality. Parking is also an additional charge, so on first look it seems reasonable but by the time I added the additional fee for parking and the costly breakfast, it would have been better to book elsewhere. Location is quite good though.
