Fantastic central location, making it convenient to walk anywhere downtown. Hotel was quiet and clean. Breakfast was a nice touch. Staff were friendly, and the check-in and check-out processes were seamless. Parking was underground, making it secure and free from the elements. Would definitely consider staying again.

Something incredibly unique about this hotel was that it seemed to double as some sort of mental health/medical facility and a hotel???? There was a patient transfer vehicle that showed up and part of the breakfast area said that it was for ‘patients only’ in a chorded off section. At 2 am the whole building was shaking presumably with people jumping around, waking us up. Overall very sketchy, but there was a view of the harbour and the room was reasonably clean.

Everything was great about the place, but the way they have the speaker box set up for the underground parking lot is really inconvenient. Especially if you don’t have long arms. But the staff and the building was really nice.

The lakeview is very nice and the room is very large. The hotel is clearly older but the rooms seem to be very well-maintained.

Room has a plugged sink and the taps and showerhead was coming out if the wall. They placed us beside a family in a adjoining room so noise level was ridiculous. Wifi was too weak to watch movies so staff told us to use our phone data. Just not a place to feel pampered or safe. Very disappointing.

A comfy room in downtown Kingston

Booked a lake view king room at the last minute. We were attending a show in town and didn’t want to drive home in a snowstorm. The hotel was only about a 7 minute walk to the Grand Theatre. Room was great. Very quiet at our end of the hall and it had a very comfortable bed. We like that they offer underground parking and we can just walk to most places downtown. I found it wasn’t that easy to control the room temperature as it tended to get warmer than what we set the room temperature to. I think I ended up putting it at 18 degrees overnight. We took our continental breakfast to go since we left early in the morning. Would stay again as the price was quite a bit lower than the other hotels in downtown Kingston.

Great location and good view of the harbour

I arrived late at night after a long drive on the snowy highways and the checked in went smoothly. The staff at front desk was welcoming. My room has a nice view of the harbour. The hotel is in an excellent location, right across from the City Hall
