Used to be great but declining

This is always our #1 hotel but we have noticed some decrease in the cleanliness and comfort. We have allergies and noticed the allowing of pets is affecting us more and more so we will have to make a change of hotels when we are Knoxville. The smell of pets and the hair is disgusting.

This experience was a far sight better than the experience from across the road at the HI. The people were excellent. We met a young fella by the name of Matt. He is in college majoring in Hospitality. We wants to stay with the same company for 50 years!! I think he will do it. The evening food and drinks? Excellent!! the room was very clean, right down to the corners in the bathroom. Everywhere was clean! In the morning, the coffee was great, the food was very good and it was hot!! I would definitely recommend this place! We will back on our next trip to Knoxville!!

Drury's is always a win for us. We love the facilities and the helpfulness of the staff. We had an odd experience on this stay the did not allow me to give the normal 5 star review. After midnight, we were all awoken to a knock on our door. It was a pizza delivery guy (at least that what he said) that said he was at the wrong room. I called the front desk and the attendant said that they indeed checked in and he sent them to room 229. He knocks on our room, room 209. Here's my beef. I think it is irresponsible for staff to send non-guest to roam the halls in the middle of the night. Deliveries should be greeted at the front desk and the guest should come down and recieve the delivery. To me, this is just common sense safety stuff. We lost an hour of sleep because of this unsafe policy.
