Excellent condo. Has everything you need for a great stay (beach chairs, cooler etc); staff were very proactive and welcoming. New washer/dryer all in one, very clean with a nice ocean view. Really enjoyed the location…. Easy walk to Poipu beach and about 25 min walk to shipwreck.Would easily come back to this place for our next visit to Kauai!

Great location, but Dryer broken and Washer smelled

Fabulous location within walking distance to Poupou beach! Saw turtles on beach every night! Love the place except for the washer and dryer, which did not work. We had already been on another island for the first week, and were counting on this place to wash clothes. Unfortunately, the washer water smelled bad and the dryer did not work. There was Velcro on the dryer door (so this issue has obviously been going on a while), but it would not close well so the sensor kept stopping the dryer after 1 minute. Maintenance came and said it needs to be replaced. They did an "Affresh" to make the washer smell better, but did not help the smell. I still washed clothes but dried them on the porch. Other than this, the unit was great. If you don't need a washer/dryer or if they replace the dryer, then I highly recommend staying here.

Great location. Loved eating breakfast on the patio with a view of the ocean. Only complaint is the dryer's temperature control was broken with the only option being max heat.

Good vacation on Kauai

We had a very nice time at this home near Poipu. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the sunrise and sunset and the short walk to the beach. Although a bit dated, the home is comfortable and quiet. Communications with the property managers was timely, helpful, and kind.

Horrible mattress and someone drilled a hole in our jeep gas tank!

Clean condo, great location, even the groundsmen were a delight! Only 2 issues; a very uncomfortable mattress! We are ab athletic family and woke up with sore back and neck every day. The second is parking! No secure parking, you have to park on the street. On our last morning, around 6:45am we were leaving for the airport. My husband went out with our luggage and smelled really strong gas fumes. He saw a puddle and pile of shavings under the jeep. Someone drilled a hole in our gas tank! We had to scramble for a taxi, make a police report, call the car rental and find a tow company all before flying out. The officer said it has been happening a lot to tourists… so good to know before you book. It was very stressful and unexpected expenses!

As advertised. A lovely stay in Kauai.

Spotless. Absolutely ready for us but no cooking supplies except salt and pepper. Get olive oil or that sort of thing on your prep as there are none. Beautiful view from an updated unit. Sheets blankets beds all just fine. Hotel quality. Units are a bit noisy and with so many traveling with youngins there are quite a few clunks bumps and conversations to be shared. Local rooster of course doing their thing. 5am. But we were up anyway so were unaffected. Beach chairs and goodies were awesome. We rented an umbrella and enjoyed a couple nearby and quiet beaches. Recommend shipwreck beach highly. Turtles at Poipu beach at sunset not to be missed. As is the lemon cake at beachside.

Great location, lovely sunsets.

We arrived at this location as sun was setting and everyone was hurrying to the beach to watch So wonderful to be able to sit on the patio, or walk to the beach for the daily sunset event. Unit was very comfortable for our stay. Unit did have more steps than expected and the king bed is very high. There was a step stool provided for that helped, but be aware if you accessibility issues. Pool was nice and property was well kept up. Lawn chairs and beach items available. We enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful Property

The Parrish Property was perfect for our family's stay and just as advertised. We especially liked the relaxed atmosphere, and the view of the ocean was outstanding. Having A/C was a huge benefit as the temps approached 90 degrees during the day and humidity was high. This is property definitely checks all of the boxes!

Well-appointed and comfortable

We were part of a group of 10 friends in the same industry who came for a mini-retreat. The unit was beautiful and clean, the beds comfortable, and Poipu is a great location for getting away from it. There was some ongoing construction while we were there and the property manager was upfront about the inconvenience, and also discounted the stay. At every stage of the arrival and check in process I received text and email messages with detailed instructions. I'd definitely come back.

Great location

We had a fabulous time. The location is perfect for a family with teens who might want some freedom to roam. The beach is just a very quick walk away, trails to hike and run on, easy access to shops and restaurants. There were a few construction things by the city that were beyond the rental property's control but they communicated well with us about them. Would highly recommend.

Perfect location walked down to the end of the street to see the sea turtles playing in the waves and a pod of about 25 dolphins swimming. Right down the street is Bennekes restaurant (however not has good as in the past and the Mai Tais were awful. If you walk further down the beach to the Marriott pool bar they serve great drinks. Also very convenient in walking distance is a beach shop to rent snorkeling gear and great snorkeling right there at Poipu Beach. The condo was clean and beds very comfortable. Living room furniture a little outdated and not so comfy but we weren’t there to hang out inside! The construction was literally right in front of our condo and annoying hopefully will be finished soon for the next guest. The clothes dryer was taped shut but worked. Had a note taped to it that part had been ordered. The huge microwave sitting on the kitchen counter taking up a lot of space really needs to go. It was nice to have the beach chairs and cooler (warning handle on cooler didn’t work and had to be carried) also took beach umbrella to beach to find out it was broken and didn’t work.I realize the umbrella could have been left By previous guest and not condo owner. Overall great stay !

We enjoy the Nihi Kai and are repeat visitors. The location near Poipu beach is fantastic, walking distance to beaches, parks and restaurants. Check in and communication was seamless through their new texting system. Thanks for a great family vacation!
