Tumalo Lake Lodge koostuu neljästä ylellisestä loma-asunnot mökistä, jotka sijaitsevat Tumalo Lake -järvellä vain 12 mailia länteen Bendin keskustasta, Oregon. Sijaitsee 640 yksityisellä metsähehtaarilla, jota ympäröi molemmin puolin Deschutesin kansallismetsä. Ulkoilua on runsaasti rajattomia vaellusreittejä, maastopyöräilyä, maastohiihtoa ja lumikenkäilyä heti oven ulkopuolella. Tutustu Tumalo-järveen kajakin, kanootin avulla ja seiso melontalaudalla (ilmainen vieraille) tai täydentä valasasi saaliilla ja vapauta taimenen kalastuksella. Henkeäsalpaava Tumalon putous on vain 3 mailin päässä. Lasketteluun Mt Bachelor on vain 45 minuutin päässä.

Lakeside West Cabin on arkkitehtuurin huippuluokan mestariteos. Jokaisessa huoneessa olevat valtavat ikkunat tarjoavat puutalotunnelman, josta on upeat näkymät luontoon joka suuntaan. Suuri kietoutuva kansi ja mukavat Adirondack-tuolit ja keinutuolit antavat mahdollisuuden rentoutua raikkaassa ilmassa ottaen samalla upeaa luonnonympäristöä ja näkymiä. Kannella sijaitseva yksityinen kylpytynnyri tarjoaa upeat näkymät järvelle ja metsälle - täydellinen tapa rentoutua päivän ulkoseikkailun jälkeen.

Kauniit kalusteet luovat tunnelman rento ylellisyydestä. Ensimmäisen kerroksen avoin suunnitelma sisältää hyväpalkkaiset, mukavat kalusteet, säteilevät lämmitetyt lattiat italialaisilla laattoilla ja koristematot. Olohuoneessa on puuhella ja valtavat ikkunat järvinäköalalla. Hyvin varustetussa keittiössä on graniittitasot ja ruostumattomat laitteet, mukaan lukien Jenn-Air-ammattitakka. Tässä kerroksessa on ruokailutila ja jauhehuone sekä viehättävä makuuhuone, jossa queen-size-vuode, kylpyhuone ja ranskalaiset ovet, jotka johtavat kannelle ja kylpytynnyriin.

Jokaisessa huoneessa on king-size-raudasänky, peitolla, viihtyisä untuvapeite ja tyynyt sekä ylelliset 500 säikeiden arkkia. Yksityisissä kylpyammeissa on joko iso suihku tai suihku kylpyammeella, graniittiset, italialainen laatta, lämmitettävät lattiat, ylelliset pyyhkeet, shampoo ja vartaloemulsiovälineet ja hiustenkuivaaja.

Peaceful, comfortable, quiet.

This is truly an amazing house and wonderful location. The view of the lake is great, along with surrounding Forest Service landscape. The home is well stocked we appreciate the extra details (the woodstove is always loaded and ready to be fired up upon arrival. The kitchen is great, every size of pot and pan you might need, and a slow cooker) as well. Heated floors in the bathroom are so nice. When there's snow, staff ensure that the roads to the house are clear and easy to pass. The deck and walkways are shoveled as well. Tracy is a kind and very responsive host.

Amazing place!!

We loved our stay here SO MUCH! We (2 adults, 3 young teens) loved paddling on the lake, sitting on the shady deck watching birds, relaxing in the hot tub, and going on adventures in the area (guided rock climbing at Smith Rocks, floating the river through town, zip-lining at Mt. Bachelor, Big Eddy whitewater rafting, lots of hiking). The beds are big and comfortable, the kitchen is well-equipped, the house has lots of comfy places to sit, and stayed cool even on 90 degree days.

Awesome location

This property is amazing and secluded away from the city. Beautiful nature and trails that go on for days. Beautiful trail just down the road to Tumalo Falls and an extensive system that beginners to experts can enjoy. The “Cabin” was well stocked and the hot tub was awesome. Plan to come back in the summer and enjoy the lake.

Beautiful property, beautiful house, lots of supplys. Any issues we had was took care of promptly. Wish we had our own fire pit at the house instead of the community one. There were no fish in the lake. Overall we had a nice relaxing time.

These are no ordinary cabins. They are luxury homes surrounded by a lake and forest. Meticulous attention to every detail made this one of our most enjoyable vacations ever. Great Place to Stay

We loved Lakeside West Cabin; it was the perfect place for our stay in the Bend Area. The drive to Bend is very short and we skied daily at Mt. Bachelor, very easy drive as well. The Cabin was gorgeous inside and out, had everything we needed. Everything was clean, well-kept and convenient. Hot tub was nice after skiing all day and the wood burning stove heated the cabin quickly in the mornings. Communication was clear and easy with Host and detailed instructions were in the cabin about everything we needed. I will definitely be staying here again in the future!

Amazing. Beautiful, private winter wonderland. House was gorgeous, plenty of room for our family. We loved that we were surrounded by snow even though Bend had none. Hosts were helpful and responsive. 15 min to Bend; 40 to the slopes.

We stayed in the Lakeside West cabin and the photos don’t fully capture the beauty of the place. It’s not often that you find places that are stocked with literally everything. Tracy & Bill were a pleasure to work with and we’ll definitely be back. This one is a gem.

4th Trip as Amazing as the 1st

Our family of 6 (4 kids between 7-12) had another amazing trip to Tumalo Lake. This was our 4th year in a row staying on the lake, if that is any indication of how much fun we have and how beautiful it is. The cabins are extremely well kept, clean and super comfortable. We take advantage of the entire property and fish, kayak, swim, and love the hike around the lake. It is also only a 10 minute drive to the beautiful Tumalo Falls. The owners are very friendly, responsive and clearly continue to invest every year in making it an even more magical place. If you need to work, the wifi worked great. The water quality is great from the tap, some of the best tasting water I have ever had.

We were happily surprised by stronger internet service than we expected. No problem checking and sending emails and texts. Best of all, everyone agreed that the cabin was perfect: every bedroom was an en-suite, the kitchen was top-notch, and the view from the windows and the deck was beautiful beyond words!

Wonder Stay

We had a wonderful 6 night stay. My brother had stayed in one of the cabins a year or two ago and we came to celebrate his and my sister in law's birthdays based on his recommendation. We had a total of 3 cabins with 14 people. We had a great time at and around the lake and in the cabins. We enjoyed hiking, canoeing, kayaking, flat boarding and swimming. Also, just sitting on the decks and visiting was awesome. We made several trips to the surrounding areas for hiking and sight seeing. Great weather and Great location. The cabins were well stocked and and well kept. We flew into Portland from Michigan and Tennessee and rented a car. We had day on the front and tail end to do some driving to and from PDX to see the beautiful countryside.

Special place

For the right travelers, this is a great place. We loved the (almost) private lake, and really appreciated the quality amenities (hammocks, kayaks, Brand name Jacuzzi, etc). Cabin is well built, and there is plenty of places to spread out an enjoy the vacation without stepping on each other. Everything is quality throughout. Loved watching the bald Eagle. Again, the owners did not cut corners on anything, and it makes a huge difference. If you are someone for which a TV or good cell phone reception is important, this may not be the place for you. There is pretty good WiFi, but even with WiFi phone connections are not very good in some parts of the house. One is kind of far away from shopping and restaurants- no problem for us. For us, this was a great fit, and can’t wait to go back.

STUNNING LOCATION

This place is truly special. We have stayed in hundreds of homes over the years and without a doubt, this was my favorite EVER!!! Everything was perfect! I was traveling to Bend for a quick trip with my son for a concert. When I found this place, I knew it was much larger (and more expensive) than what we needed but it looked so cool I rented it anyways. Soooo glad I did. We felt like we were the only ones on the whole lake! Started our morning by canoeing out onto the lake and reading our books! It was just amazingly beautiful! Coffee on the rocking chairs overlooking the lake. Wish I could wake up to that every morning! The two mile hike around the lake was, in my opinion, just so-so but I'd still do it if I were there again so.... If you are looking at this place, rent it! I'll be going back!!!

Magical

We just completed our 3rd visit to the Tumalo Lake Lodge - we have gone in the middle of the Winter, and twice over the Summer. Tracy and Bill are phenomenal hosts and caretakers of this amazing property. We are so grateful they share it with us. The cabins are beautiful, private and well maintained... we have come to rely on the nice quality cookware, fresh towels, comfortable beds, stocked wood, daily garbage service and clean hot tub. The water is so fresh, cold and good. Do not bring bottled water, or you will miss out on amazing tasting water. My husband laughed at me when I filled up our water bottles to take some home with us. The lake is beautiful - we saw eagles, baby ducks, rainbow trout, and dear. We enjoyed swimming in it, and using the boats provided. The lodge is only a few minute drive to Tumalo Falls, and many hiking trails for non stop entertainment. It is magical, and we will of course be returning.

Perfect for Our Family Get-together

Our family of six adults rented this house for a weekend get-together. It was perfect for our needs. Each couple had their own bedroom and bathroom. There were two comfortable sitting areas, so everyone had plenty of space. The hot tub was clean and inviting. We used the grill and kept the fire stoked with the ample firewood. We cooked all of our meals and found the kitchen well-stocked and completely adquate to our needs. Our only suggestion would be the addition of a vegetable peeler and a hand towel in the kitchen. We hiked the 2-mile loop trail, easy enough for anyone of at least average fitness level. A very pretty place. We enjoyed our visit very much. There was no internet or cell phone coverage (AT&T, although we understand Verizon is available.) However, there is a land line. Refundable deposit was returned promptly. Would rent it again without reservation.
