Love the view

Our trip was compromised by illness. First, my husband wasn't well so we were delayed in leaving home. Several days after we arrived I developed a serious gastro flu. Though we, unfortunately, were not able to enjoy this trip, the property, particulary the view is even better than described. Though I hope other travelers don't need to admire this, clever placement of a bedroom mirror, allowed me to see the ocean even when I was confined to bed. The locaation of the property is excellent too. It's very near a lovely beach with restaurants and stores.

Emplacement idéal si vous cherchez le calme et la tranquilité avec vue sur l’Atlantique, tout en étant très proche de la boulangerie, la superette, les restaurants, les bâteaux pour La Rochelle et surtout, la plage des Minimes à environ 5 minutes à pied. L’arrêt du bus très proche vous permet d’aller en ville sans le tracas de trouver une place de parking.Wifi impeccable car j’ai du travailler pendant mon séjour. La literie dans la grande chambre était très confortable, nous y avons très bien dormi. Les lits superposés de la petite chambre sont un peu court pour des personnes de grande taille comme mon fils (1m83), mais il à quand même trouvé le matelas très confortable.La cuisine est équipée avec vraiment tout ce qu’il faut, appareil à raclette et cocotte minute comprise. Une place de parking est incluse dans la location. Un autre détail qui m’a plu est le fait que l’entrée est en bout de palier, donc pas de passage devant la porte par d’autre résidents ce qui nous a permis de la laisser ouverte pour faire courant-d’air lors des grosses chaleurs de la mi-août.Je recommande fortement cet appartement et y reviendrai avec plaisir si nous retournons à La Rochelle une autre fois.

The apartment has everything you need for a vacation. Despite temperatures of over 30 degrees, it was relatively cool in the apartment even without air conditioning. The sea view from the balcony was amazing. The location was great. 3 minutes to the beach and about 15 minutes by water bus or bike to the center of La Rochelle. The apartment is a bit older and needs to be renovated. Some things were very worn, but still acceptable. Reine was a great host and communication worked very well. Towels and bed linen can be booked for an extra fee. The final cleaning must either be done by the guest or will be done by a cleaning company for an extra fee. Depending on how well the guests clean beforehand, you could be out of luck and cleaning should always be done by an agency. The rent should be increased accordingly. Overall we had a great time in La Rochelle and the apartment, but would like some things to be updated.

Superbe séjour

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans ce bel appartement bien équipé et idéalement situé avec une vue inprenable sur l'océan ! Le sentier qui longe la côte sur plusieurs kilomètres et qui se trouve juste derrière la maison est formidable pour de longues balades à pied ou à vélo.

A nous La Rochelle!!!

appartement très propre avec vue sur la mer qui est à environ à 150 m. accès à la plage des Minimes environ 10 mn de marche. Quartier calme dont on apprécie le soir de s'endormir au son des vagues.
