Bring your family or group of friends here and start planning your adventures now. Right beside the locally famous Echo Valley biking and hiking trails you can stay close by or venture a bit further out and explore the wonders of Algonquin and Arrowhead Provincial Parks (this home is equi-distant from both parks which operate all year round).
There are so many areas to explore in the Huntsville / Lake of Bays area, from the pristine sand swimming beach at Dwight Beach to the Limberlost Forest and Wildlife Reserve to the Dorset Lookout Tower and Ragged Falls. Want to do a little shopping and restaurant sampling? The sky's the limit. The villages of Dwight and Dorset will keep you well occupied and when you head into the town of Huntsville you'll want to spend the whole day, with so much to explore from restaurants, food trucks, cafes, breweries, in-town river kayaking, canoeing and SUP'ing from Algonquin Outfitters.
Don't forget to visit Lion's Lookout in Huntsville with its expansive vista views. The Algonquin Theatre right downtown offers headline live performances all year round, and in the summer live outdoor music and movies are often showcased right in River Mill Park.
