You are a 2 minute walk to Mirror Lake which is the starting point for the swim portion of the IronMan triathalon.

It is a quick walk to the Olympic arena and just a bit further to the main strip in town with all the restaurants, shops, movie theatre, and outdoor musical concerts. Within a two minute walk there are two fantastic restaurants - Lake Placid Pub and Brewery, and the clubhouse for the Lake Placid Club Golf Course.
