This is a Motel & so our door was facing the street. When we got our key & pulled around to the room, there were people/tenets/guests sitting in lawn chairs, smoking & drinking beer outside their door rooms. All rooms on either side of us were “partying”. There was an old can ashtray on our window. The inside was average for cleanliness. The mattresses were absolutely horrible. They need to be replaced!! The toilet sounded like a duck was stuck in it. No cups, complimentary toiletries, coffee pot. Did have a nice TV, fridge & microwave. I would expect this kind of motel to be in the price range of $49 per night not $132!!! Would not recommend.

Remember this is an INN not a resort or hotel; this is why you are paying half the price of a hotel. We had such a lovely stay! Our room was clean, spacious, comfortable, convenient and close to everything; it really is next to a working Amish farm as promised. Each evening we picnicked in the grass and watched an Amish farmer and his 7 draft horses hard at work! There is coffee in the morning and tea upon request, and you are a scenic walk away from the Route 30 diner. The BEST part is the host Surinda “Sam,” his beautiful family, and their Gujarati hospitality. Sam is a local legend! He knows the area better than anyone else you will meet. We had a lovely trip to Lancaster and will return to the Olde Amish Inn!

I liked that it wasn't against a busy highway but close enough to everything. The water pressure was great. Now for the bad points. When you go out the back exit,there were old mattresses and box springs leaning up against the building. Dont ever ever stay in room 33. It has an adjoining room which belongs to the owners or the ones that run the place. You may as well be in the same room as them. Banging on pots and pans, loud gabbing on the phone, and the stench of the food they were cooking. This started early in the morning. I would consider staying again as long as I was in a room far away from their's.

Never again stay!

Guy at the desk refused to do a print out to show we payed for the stay. My husband kept asking. Was told we didn't need a print out. No proof . Constant dripped at the fauset all day and night. Faucet at the sink needed to be replaced. It was disgusting. Sheets did not stay on the bed. We had to keep putting them on. Wrong bedding did not fit properly and why there was a layer of bedding that was added to bring warmth to the bed...that did not belong there.
