The hotel was clean but screamed outdated. The hot breakfast consisted of tiny little sausages, egg whites with what appeared to be yolk or something yellow in them, and waffles. Very limited cold foods to choose from. There was an employee walking around with one glove on handling all the foods. It wigged us out. The bathroom in our room had some type of covering on it to hold the tiles down or the grout in place. This hotel reminds me of a 5 or 6 out of 10 hotel.

Sleep Inn and Suites was convenient to our activities. Pricing was moderate. It fit our budget. Front desk was kind and helpful. Pool was too chlorinated. Pool interior needed some upgrading. We were happy the pool was indoor, due to rain and cooler temperatures. The bathroom tub needed repairs. Metal plate in tub had sharp edges. Outside tub to tile had cracks and holes. There was plenty of hot water.

The staff was the first thing we noticed. personable, professional. The dog Lucy was a nice greeting to have. The rooms were clean as was the hallways and lobby. The area was convenient for dining and shopping, ease of getting around. The breakfast food was okay. But they had good service in keeping things stocked for the patrons.

The rooms are slightly dated. Vacuuming could have been done better, Upon check in there where crumbs/debris on the floor in the room. Everything else was clean. Bed and bathroom areas where clean. Service was wonderful. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Would stay again.

The first room the door did not close unless you pulled the door hard. The cleaning staff left our room open after cleaning. Also was musty smelling and I had to empty the dehumidifier twice which was filthy. They need to clean the machine as you could see black mold in it I complained and manager moved us to a new room ; This room happened to be room that my family requested to move out of because there was a bug. They didn’t bother to remove the bug or re clean it before giving it to us. I know because the soap had been open and towel used. Room also smelled musty. I would not go back again. Need to clean better.

Went for girls’ overnight to see the production at Sight & Sound. Sleep Inn is very conveniently located to S&S as well as to a number of very good and reasonably priced restaurants. It’s also only 10 minutes away from Kitchen Kettle Village, if you want to do some shopping (which we did!) Our rooms were immaculate—very very clean and nicely decorated, We each had a refrigerator, microwave, hairdryer, and little coffee maker. (Note: You brew the coffee directly into the cup, there is no pot.) The bathroom has a lot of counter space and there were plenty of towels. Bed was very comfortable. The free breakfast was not bad. I had eggs and sausage and my 2 friends made waffles, and we all said the food was good. We would definitively stay here again if we come back to the area.
