This hotel offers a great value for the dollar. It is new, modern and has a bright and cheerful interior design. The staff here really do go out if their way to make you feel honored and special. The only two drawbacks that I encountered was that I had to run the shower for about 3 minutes before I got any hot water (I was on floor 17) and the wait to eat a meal at the restaurant was long if you didn't have the buffet. The last day we were there we ordered breakfast before leaving for the airport and ended up cancelling it because it took 35 minutes and then they came back and told me that it would be another 10 minutes after we asked where our breakfast was. There were two large groups there that were getting catered to that came in after us and I suspect the hotel made them the priority. After all, it doesn't take 45 minutes to cook some bacon and eggs, right? Although that was annoying I would still stay here again as it's a lovely hotel with great staff, modern facilities and a very reasonable price point.

I chose the Belmont because it's on Mactan Island as opposed to Cebu. I had been traveling for quite some time and needed a place that was safe, quiet and not in a metropolis. Think resort like setting. I hear the pool/bar and beach are nice - i didn't make lol. The neighborhood is modern, new and safe. The food at the hotel is okay. The drinks are expensive. So just walk to Robinsons a few doors down and stock up - the hotel didn't mind, I asked just to be sure, they were chill. The only caveat is there are no do not disturb signs so housekeeping will definitely knock. And they seem kinda weird if you skip 2 days in a row so maybe don't do that. But hey, i work remote eu time so didn't see a lot of sun. The sushi place a few doors down, cheap and great. Taste of Luciano, about a mile away, walkable safe is the best Italian food I've ever had in SE Asia. All of the employees and staff were very very nice. Thank you Belmont, I'll be back. Cheers!

Excellent beach access, quality gym and lovely pool area. Quality of buffet breakfast wasn’t worth paying the extra for - food was ok but would have been better off going elsewhere. Food at beach restaurant was way better - absolutely delicious.

The hotel was nice and the staff were amazing especially King and Mark but the food and drink at the beach bar and cafe were always very limited as took days to replenish stock but unable to take any with you and my son got food poisoning as the cafe kitchen had inadequate hygiene

Belmont Hotel is a busy hotel and staff are exceptional at their job, professional, friendly and helpful. The hotel has access to pools and a private beach which was lovely and relaxing. I would recommend staying here and would definitely love to return.
