Its right down from freemont street downtown you walk 3 blocks to get to main downtown strip. I did and kareoked at the cats meow! Many places to eat downtown. You pass the cortez hotel walking.

Friendly staffs. Close to downtown. Inside is simple, no full length mirror or kettle. Parking is a bit packed if come back late, but can park on the street. Wifi signals are strong. Kind safe? Always see police cars around the area. Overall it was a good experience.

Overall the stay was great. The hotel was built in the 40s so the side of the second floor that we were staying on didn't have working AC but the front desk gave us a fan. Centrally located in relation to the strip, walking distance to Fremont Street experience, ample free parking right across the street right next to where the pool is located. Staff was great, coffee and ice provided in lobby for guests which is a nice perk. Would stay again

Beware I got a ticket on my car in their lot. Says for registration which is confusing considering it’s current. Says non smoking property but our room definitely smelled of smoke upon arrival. Grout in shower was extremely gross

2 star hotel for access to Fremont experience

Check in basically done by you. You have to scan your ID, make your own room keys,... The "front desk" personnel are only there to give instructions on where to park and how to check in at the kiosk when you have problems. The hotel is extremely dated and no more than a place to pass out and shower in the morning after getting completely wasted on Fremont. 1 night stay works fine. I wouldn't do more than 1 night (check in at 7pm, go out at 9pm, come back at 3am, wake up at 10am, shower and check out). Anymore than that and I wouldn't recommend it at all. This is a 2 star hotel in a great location to the Fremont experience for a good price, that's it.
