Beautiful historical hotel conveniently located next to the historic downtown plaza, steps away from antique shops and galleries. The best part of this charming hotel was the friendly staff from the hotel to the restaurant and the saloon, very gracious and providing excellent service. It is a pet friendly hotel and it was fun to see the various pets.

This was my 2nd visit to the property as I travel about 6 times a year between Colorado and Arizona. The 1st visit was lacking due to my room not being made up and the restaurant running out of certain dishes, This time was perfect! Thank you.

The rooms are very spacious, and clean. Located in a downtown area with businesses around a town square. The hotel is very interesting, with history, and docorated with SW furnishings. If the restaurant was better managed, this could be a "destination hotel". The staff is very good, and helpful. In our room, the television did not work, and the bathroom sink drained very slowly, so a more detailed cleaning/maintenance program would help. Overall, I highly recommend the Hotel, and would stay there again.

The morning staff was lovely. The room and hotel could use a deep clean. Also i was chilly all night. It was cold out, and there was only a sheet and light cover, i ended up putting on my vest and hat to bed. A heavier blanket would have been nice.

Friendly staff, clean hotel. Interesting decor. They only provided small accent pillows. Horrible pillows. Woke with a kink in my neck. Had to take 2 stars because the pillows were pathetic.

Have stayed here before and liked it so decided to try again. The staff is always lovely, however, this time I was not impressed as I have been in the past. Carpets need to be cleaned on the stairway, as well as in the rooms. There are no extra blankets in the room and only a very thin blanket on the beds (we had a double room) The bathroom is old (I understand that, the building is old) but the sink had cracks in it. And the carpet in the sink portion of the bathroom did not seem clean as well as the baseboards. However, the shower portion was better than last visit (which was old vinyl), it had been replaced with tile. However the towel racks were broken. Also, the restaurant and cafe were closed....had to go somewhere else for dinner (this should have been advertised when we booked) In addition, they seemed to be selling most of the things on the wall in the lobby and it was a bit tacky with Black Marker Pricing on all the items ....in lieu of a price tag. I felt like perhaps the hotel was getting ready to sell? Just was an entirely different vibe from when we were there before. Sad, as I don't think we will stay there again. I thought it was great last time (which had only been 1 month prior). And no microwaves in the room or coffee pots - The room sizes are great, just needs a bit of updating.

Staff was great. The building is beautiful! Unfortunately the room itself was dirty. The shower curtain had some kind of pink grime on it. The carpet edges and under tables were very dusty. The drawer in the table and dresser were dirty with a pile of hair in one drawer. The walls in the bathroom looked sticky with drip marks and hair stuck to it. It would not take much to get the room cleaned up. It would be great with a deep clean.
