The only thing that let the stay down was the check in. There weren’t enough staff for the amount of people queuing and one of the two staff present didn’t seem to know what they were doing. The bar staff were very helpful and efficient as were the breakfast team. All in all a very good visit and will definitely stay again.

Ideally situated just a short stroll to the shops and restaurants. The staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel is beautiful. I got an upgrade to a suite, such a treat, it was just a shame that I didn’t have more time to make the most of it. I’ll definitely return next time I’m up in Leeds.

Staff were without exception welcoming, courteous and helpful in the extreme. They spared no effort to assist with any query we had or request we made. They were admirably customer-focused , and clearly take great pride in providing guests with a first rate experience.Reception and bar / restaurant staff were excellent ambassadors for the hotel and the Crowne Plaza brand. The breakfast service was first class and very well managed. Overall, the hotel’s facilities were very good. We particularly liked the WiFi, the outside terrace adjacent to the restaurant, the car park and the swimming pool. The pool , however. is less accessible than we had hoped and understood it to be. It does not have a hand rail at the steps which makes it very difficult for someone with restricted mobility to enter the water without considerable support from two or even three other people. Our son is disabled, cannot walk unaided and he needed me, my wife and his sister to assist him into the pool . Once in the water, he had a great time. An appropriate adaptation would be valued by families like mine. Aside from that challenge, we had a wonderful stay due in large measure to an outstanding staff team. Lauren at Reception could not have been more helpful and we greatly appreciated the arrangements she made to provide us with two adjacent rooms which were better and more suitable , given my disabled son’s needs, than the rooms originally booked.
