Ideally located at the end of the peninsula, Cap Ferret, 400m from the beaches of the Ocean and 400m from the beach of Mimbeau (Bassin Arcachon) you forget your car to enjoy all the riches of nature exceptional.
Near the 44 ha, you will enjoy a very sought after location allowing easy access to all the resources of Cap Ferret, while having a quiet environment.
Classified 4 * by the tourist office, the house is recent and made entirely of wood by the artisans of the peninsula. The house is terraced (the owners live in the other part) and offers all the modern comforts you expect. It is the charm and quality that have married to offer you a carefree holiday, and a real relaxation.

You will have 2 bedrooms, one with a bed 140 and the second with 2 bunk beds 90 cm. Each room has an exit through a French window to the terrace.
The bathroom has 2 basins and a large walk-in shower, the WC is independent.
Finally you will have a living room of 25 m2 glazed on the garden, composed of a living room with 2 sofas and a dining area with a round table for 4.
The American kitchen is equipped with an American fridge (freezer dispenser of water / ice cube ...) induction hob, oven multi-cooking, lava crockery, lava linen, etc ..

WIFI with private repeater, TV and DVD player are obviously there.

With its independent access, its plancha gas and barbecue area, its terrace of 40 m2 slatted serving all the rooms, the house allows you to enjoy the outdoors throughout the day.

A 5 'walk, you will find the huge sandy beaches of the ocean or the beautiful beaches of the basin depending on the mood or the tide for young and old.

A lovely place to stay

A delightful place to stay for a week. Everything you could need in a holiday home- very well equipped kitchen, great out door bbq, lovely terrace for eating out, dishwasher, washing machine, comfortable indoor seating and beds, plenty of storage in the bedrooms. Really the place was pretty, functional and very well designed and laid out. I have rented many holiday homes and this was one of the best.

A great visit

The cabin is fantastic - very clean, friendly and with beautiful light. Also very secluded and private. Michel and Regina were very communicative and easy to deal with, ready to help and yet also they left us on our own - a perfect combination. We travelled by foot, without hiring a car, and Michel picked us up in town and brought us there, helping us also after we returned our bikes. A lovely week - highly recommended.

Perfect stay!

We loved our week staying here, very comfortable and well equipped, clean, bright and spacious. Beautiful, quiet location but only a short walk or bike ride away from the shops, bay and ocean. We arrived on public transport and hired bikes all week which was the perfect way to get around. The bbq on the patio was great and was used most nights! Michel was ever so helpful communicating before our arrival and during our stay. I can only agree with previous comments as they were all true - We loved our stay!

Beautifully fitted out property with charming host

The property is compact and beautifully fitted out with all the equipment you could want for a holiday stay. The location is great with easy access to both Atlantic and basin beaches as well as the restaurants and shops of Cap Ferret. Michel was a most charming and obliging host - he had many local tips and suggestions for us when we arrived. He was immediately on hand when we accidentally tripped a fuse but the property felt very secluded from his own. Our young son loved it and wanted to stay "forever and ever"!

great cabin, great location, great hosts

The rating of 5-stars is a no-brainer for this fantastic property, suitable for a family (we came as a family of 4) or a couple looking for a romantic getaway. The description of the rental on the website is accurate. The cabin does offer everything you may need, including a big American fridge, which we found very useful. The decoration is charming with a subtle coastal theme. The living room is light and airy. Both rooms have ample storage where you can unpack everything and even store your suitcases. Beds are comfortable and were made upon arrival (nice bed linen) and towels were also provided. The outside space is equally nice, with deckchairs and garden furniture set where you can sit to enjoy the tranquility of the place or feast on the meal prepared on the plancha. Parking is easy with spaces just outside the property. The location in Cap Ferret is spot on. The property is located in a quiet residential street in the middle of the pine trees. You can walk in a just few minutes to the beaches, either the quiet beach Mimbeau on the bay or the beach on the ocean. The fishing quarter is not too far neither and it is easy to wander over there for a nice evening meal trying out the delicious local oysters (there are quite a few places for diner). The car might be necessary to get to the centre of the village for your shopping (5 minutes drive), unless you have bikes. The hosts are ever so welcoming and helpful. They live next door so they are on hands for any information you may need; they are however very discreet. Prior to our arrival, any communication regarding booking was prompt and easy.

Perfect stay for couples or small families in Cap Ferret

Very symphatic and helpful owners, the property itself is fully equipped, small details are thoughtful done, design is lovely and you feel like you are in a new property. The location is seperated from the owners part, perfectly integrated in the nature, very quiet in a side street, a short distance to ocean, bay and southern point, restaurants, market and shopping of Cap Ferret. We enjoyed much our stay. We recommend and would repeat this place when we come back to Cap Ferret.

Superbe séjour !!

Nous avons passé un super séjour ! Nos hôtes étaient vraiment très gentils et aux petits soins avec nous, de bons conseils et toujours disponibles. Le logement est top, très propre, confortable (notamment la literie), au calme, très bien situé tout près des 44 hectares et de la plage. Nous avions loué des vélos pour la semaine (chez Beach Bike - super pratique car ils vous les livrent et viennent les rechercher) et avons pu explorer les environs à vélo c'était parfait. Un séjour parfait avec de super hôtes, nous reviendrons !

Erholung zwischen Bassin und Ozean

Mein Aufenthalt im Tempest war rundum hervorragend. Das Haus lässt keine Wünsche offen, ist komfortabel eingerichtet und man findet sich sofort zurecht und sehr wohl. Das Rauschen der Wellen im Hintergrund ist der kontinuierliche Soundtrack. Die Lage ist einfach perfekt. Sowohl zum Strand am offenen Ozean als auch am Bassin sind es nur 500m. Am Bassin kann man bei Flut wunderbar schwimmen. Ein Highlight für mich war der Gas-betriebene Außengrill mit Tepanplatte. Auch der Ort Cap Ferret ist einfach super. Das Highlight ist der Fischladen. Ich habe mich dort sehr wohl gefühlt.

Le bonheur à Tempest

La cabane de Michel et Régine est située dans un lieu calme et agréable. On n'y manque de rien au niveau du confort et de l'équipement. Les plages et les commerces sont à proximité. L'accueil est chaleureux et attentionné. On y retournera avec grand plaisir. Karen et Nicolas
