This one-of-a-kind property is located in the heart of Le Canon village in Cap Ferret, within a 1800sqm landscaped garden where you can enjoy the numerous outdoor and covered terraces. The local shops are only a five-minute walk away from the front door where you can taste oysters and local wine right on the water.  From the moment you walk inside, the entire villa has been built and the interiors decorated with a clear design eye. Light coloured walls, intricate detailing and stunning contemporary features all create a serene atmosphere. With seven bedrooms, accommodating up to fourteen guests, the whole villa has been designed with large groups in mind, equipped with individual sound systems and spacious living areas where everyone can gather. 

The main house boasts a bright and spacious open-plan living area, with plenty of room for everyone to come together and spend quality time. The elegant dining room and beautiful living space are divided by a stunning hanging fireplace, adding a warmth and design feature to this contemporary space. The kitchen is fully equipped, and is a joy to cook and spend time in. Completing the ground floor is a charming en-suite bedroom, suited to guests with reduced mobility. The whole space opens onto serene terraces and a large garden overlooking the pool.

Stepping up to the first floor, there are four more bedrooms, including a master suite and three further en-suite double rooms. All decorated with the same stylish simplicity as the rest of the villa, you can rest up and embrace the privacy of these beautiful rooms. The villa's final two bedrooms are located in the look house, with en-suites and pretty views across the gardens.

Each space connects to the outdoors in its own ways, through the decor, views and opening doors that continually bring you back to the setting. Picture-perfect, Le Canon and the other nearby village of l'Herbe are best known as traditional oyster fishing villages. Unlike anywhere you have been before, these picturesque villages are laid out in a grid pattern, with narrow lanes, overflowing with plants and flowers winding their way through the array of small, detached cottages, painted in bright colours that add a charm and uniqueness to each one.

With a heated private swimming pool and its very own Petanque court, there are plenty of activities to keep you busy within the villa’s beautiful grounds. Yet when you do stray a little further afield, the nearby area offers plenty more delights. Guests can explore the direct environment by strolling onto the beach, boating, horseback riding, or cycling. Bicycle rental can be arranged by the concierge team, for those who just want to discover the local fisherman villages, or those who want to spin further afield to the Atlantic Ocean. With electric bike charging at the villa, this is a brilliant way to get about, as there is often heavy traffic during the season, making bicycles are the favorite means of transportation in Le Cap Ferret. In this way it is best to pre-book your bikes before arriving.

Whilst Villa Taloa feels hidden away and private, the property is less than an hours’ drive from ravishing vineyards and Merignac/Bordeaux airport. Merignac has many scheduled and seasonal international flights arriving direct or via Paris every day. There are also daily frequent flights from other domestic cities.

Also less then an hour east, you will find the world-famous French Bordeaux Wine District. Guests can relish the renowned wines from Saint-Emilion, Graves, Sauternes, Medoc, Entre-deux-Mers and Pessac-Leognan, to name but a few. Soak up the vineyards in a luxury car with a private chauffeur giving you the freedom to taste as many grape varieties as you like.
