The multitude of windows frame a stunning, ever-changing panoramic view of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Every little detail of this sanctuary, from the Industrial/Barn decor, the large wood stove with complementary stacked wood awaiting your arrival, and the thoughtfully outfitted kitchen and baths instantly engenders a feeling of home.
Being perched on a mountainside you can experience all the changing vistas that Mother Nature displays. Not only is the house exquisite, but the location couldn’t be more perfect. Enjoy the views from the Viewing deck overlooking the John River Gorge and Pisgah National Forest while enjoying the Solos wood burning fire pit with complementary firewood. You will feel tucked away in a magical place, yet be only minutes from Blowing Rock and the Blue Ridge Parkway. It is convenient to Boone, Banner Elk, Valle Crucis, Grandfather Mountain, Mast General Store, hiking, waterfalls, and breweries. When you stay at the Barn, you’ll carry home a mountain of memories.
Relax in front of the real log burning stove on a leather sectional and chairs on the main floor. Entertaining is easy with open dining and kitchen spaces. It has a Professional, large kitchen with an Island and granite counter tops. The kitchen is fully stocked The dining room sits 6 people plus the nearby island will sit an additional 4 people. There is a free standing bar that is fully equipped to store wine and liquors for entertaining. It’s a great place for family dinners and holiday gatherings.
The house is perfect for four couples or a family. There are two Master bedrooms with king beds. They both have adjoining baths. Upstairs there are two additional queen size bedrooms that share a Jack and Jill bath with separate entrances. One of the guest bedrooms upstairs has a wonderful desk area that over looks the mountains where you can work. WiFi is high speed and fiberoptic state of the art.The Upstairs has a true Treehouse experience with multiple windows overlooking the vast views. Relax and watch the game in the upper living room or share a snack at the little kitchenette area and play cards or do a puzzle on the gathering table. The upper floor has multiple uses and flexibility. Garage is not available for guests.
