The apartment itself was acceptable but basic and would feel very cramped for the advertised maximum occupancy of six. Noise was an issue due to constant foot traffic outside the front door and from the street below at the rear of the unit.The apartment was also cold during the stay, with only a single old electric radiator providing heating, which was not sufficient to maintain a comfortable temperature even when wearing warm layers.Communication with the host was problematic. Before arrival I was asked to pay a 400 deposit by cheque outside the VRBO platform, which I declined and which was later withdrawn.After checkout, despite leaving the apartment clean and undamaged, I was charged for a “missing duvet”. This was incorrect and required escalation with VRBO and submission of video evidence from checkout. The host did not respond to my initial message regarding this issue.After a three-week stay, the post-checkout handling was disappointing. The accommodation itself was passable, but the administrative issues and incorrect charge would prevent me from recommending this unit or host.
