Needs some TLC

The hotel was central to our weekend activities. Upon arrival, the hotel looked decent and was in a quiet area.., however once inside - it was old and clearly in need of some TLC and most definitely renovation That said, the staff were friendly, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast offered was very limited.

The young lady at the counter was very quick and efficient to get my check in done. The beds were comfortable and once we figured out how the shower worked it was very nice.

Clean and friendly. Breakfast is the minimum. Worst thing— the toilet was super-low to the floor. This was totally awful. Very difficult to sit and stand up. 😖

Excellent hotel for the money. The room is relatively clean and well maintained. There is nothing bitter for breakfast, but there is coffee, juices, muesli and everything in that spirit!

First room had a moist smell. A/C cover broken and lots of dirt under the intake grill. Switched rooms, everything ok except floor needs wet mopping . After spill we cleaned spot on floor and the paper came up black. Best was front desk personnel, the lady was amazing. She was so friendly and professional!

Not Quite Super 8

Tired hotel with a so-so facelift. No USB ports to charge phone, tablet, etc.; bring your 110 adaptor and charging cords. Large room, good bed and mattress, everything worked. Was clean. Convenient to I-64 and a few places to eat.

Room was clean, staff was very nice. My lone complaint/critique would be that the hotel needs to create a smoking area away from the front door. You have to walk through a haze of cigarette and weed smoke. I was solo, so it wasn't a big deal but would not have been happy about that if I was traveling with my girlfriend. But it was nice little comfortable stay.
