First we got to the hotel and we are supposed to check in at 4pm so we got there a little after too and they told us they were running behind and they gave us the room until almost 7pm I don’t think it’s fair, we didn’t get to rest or use the facilities as much as we would of liked it, the AC of the room did NOT work so it was really hot and they couldn’t changed us because the hotel was full, so it was really hot and unpleasant, they told us they were giving us a discount so we were going to get money back due to te issue and we never did.

Fresh, warm towels!

Our room was missing bath towels. We called the front desk & a very friendly gal answered and said she’d bring them right up. Not only did we receive the towels promptly, but they were warm!

We checked in at 5:30pm, and the people before us and after us were told to wait because their rooms weren’t cleaned. I was surprised, but our room was ready, thankfully. Makes me worried about whether cleaning staff Is able to do the job properly—Staffing issues are scary!

Hotels.com said they confirmed our stay but they didn't. Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Lincoln City overbooked their hotel and there was no communication between Hotels.com and Holiday Inn. We were left without a place to stay and had to turn around and go home at 10:00 at night.

For a 1 night stay it was quiet and felt secure. We were right next to the elevator and never heard it during our stay. The breakfast was good and had good choices for hot food. We even were able to enjoy the hot tub and pool!
