The staff are very attentive whether checking in, eating in the restaurant, in the bar area, or even just exiting or entering the hotel, there always is a staff member there to greet you and ensure that you are having the best experience. The rooms are clean and comfortable with good areas. There is a nice park a short ten minute walk away and proximity to other parts of the city are good. It was a positive experience staying at this hotel.

Fantastic Hotel

I can't praise this hotel highly enough. From their eco-friendly policies to their extremely helpful/friendly staff, I was so impressed with this hotel. It's only 3.5 years old & modern. The room was very clean & tidy & though I didn't have an accessible room, the bathroom was suitable for my needs. The hotel is conveniently located,near the Picoas metro station (yellow line). From there it's just one stop to the blue line and another 3 or 4 of stops to the main parts of the city. The hotel's light show at 10pm to 10:15pm is worth a watch from the central courtyard, or the bar. We went for a football themed weekend. Both Benfica & Sporting stadia are easily accessible on the metro.

Hotel was quiet, which was great for a good night's sleep while traveling. Buffet breakfast was an excellent spread with many good options (eggs, sausage, bacon, deli meats, cheeses, vegetables, fruits, cereals, breads, pastries, coffee, tea, juice milk, and non-dairy milks, etc.) and the serving staff were very attentive. Only odd thing was the shower. The floor was very shallow and drained slowly. First time we showered, wound up with water all over the bathroom floor. After that, figured out to leave the water off while soaping up and on only when rinsing. That solved the problem.

Modern hotel with North American size rooms and beds. Friendly, helpful staff. Easy walking distance to many sites in the old town. Be prepared though, coming back is all uphill. Awesome light show every night.
