Aintree Race course, hosting the world famous Grand National and other race meetings, is only 15 minutes away.
There are lovely walks and stunning sunsets on the doorstep along the Sefton Coastal path, including Antony Gormley's renowned statues, 'Another Place', the red squirrels at Formby Nature Reserve (National Trust) and the Cheshire Lines cycle track.
