One of the older original hotels in the town which has retained its high level of customer service. A quirky compact lift is a unique feature and the rooms have wi-fi, Netflix and Youtube on the TV! Limited electric sockets in the room but daily cleaning maintains a very high standard. Breakfast is very good, cooked to order and a great choice. Best of all are the staff, who are all very friendly, helpful and professional.

Needs a bit of tlc in all areas,staff were lovely hotel was clean,beds need mattresses updating and headboards,heater didnt work in room,onky 1 window would open had a problem with bedroom door woukdnt lock from inside told staff who sorted it temporarily,shower needs updating,breakfast ok best thing was location great

It’s in a wonderful position. Our room was looking out to the pier and was very clean. We really enjoyed our stay and will return. The breakfast was lovely too.

I booked this hotel at short notice and off the back of the great reviews. Unfortunately they don’t reflect my experience. The hotel staff are pleasant, hotel clean, good location. We stayed on 2nd floor rear facing room. Clearly some of the issues are due to the old building. Literally no soundproofing, couldn’t sleep, noise from outside and the lift. Bed small and noisy. Floorboards also noisy. Shower only had hot water in morning and literally no power if you put shampoo in your hair it’s hard to wash out. Room decor was from 1960/70s. Doors are locked at midnight so if you want a night out you be sleeping on the beach. On the days we stayed hotel was full. Average age of guests must have been 75-80, this may be the reason for some of the positive reviews. Llandudno was great but I’d look for a different hotel next time.
