The enchanting gardens are a joy; take time out immersed in nature, follow the stream (take care with children) and explore the woodlands (the expansive gardens are shared with the owner who has every respect for your privacy and guests at Weavers Rest cottage (5509) nearby). For a sunny lunch sit at the picnic table and soak up the fresh Welsh country air.

Llandysul, set in the heart of the Teifi Valley in West Wales, is a delightful destination for visitors seeking both relaxation and adventure. The town sits along the River Teifi, renowned for kayaking and canoeing, as well as scenic riverside walks. Nearby, Cenarth Falls offers a spectacular natural display, especially during the salmon run, while the charming market town of Newcastle Emlyn features historic castle ruins and independent shops. Just a short drive away, Cardigan provides access to Cardigan Castle and the beautiful Cardigan Bay coastline, where sandy beaches and dolphin spotting are highlights. Nature lovers can explore the Teifi Marshes Nature Reserve, rich in wildlife, or visit the National Wool Museum to discover the area’s industrial heritage. Getting there

To reach SA44 5DB (Llandysul area in Ceredigion, West Wales), directions will depend on your starting point, but here’s a general guide:
From the M4 (coming from South Wales/London):
Leave the M4 at Junction 49 (Pont Abraham roundabout) and take the A48 towards Carmarthen. Continue on the A48, then join the A40 towards St Clears. From St Clears, take the A477 briefly before turning onto the A478 towards Cardigan. Follow signs for Llandysul via the B4334, which leads directly into the town. From Llandysul, follow local signage to SA44 5DB.
From North Wales:
Take the A487 south towards Cardigan. From Cardigan, follow the A484 towards Newcastle Emlyn, then take the B4333/B4459 towards Llandysul and follow local signs to SA44 5DB.
The area is rural, so using a sat nav or Google Maps with the full postcode is recommended for the final stretch.
