Incredible location close to everything, friendly staff, good value. The rooms are basic but comfortable, with nice views, lots of amenities including kettle, full bath. Llangollen is a beautiful, friendly town with local shops/no franchises. There are wonderful walks along canals to waterfalls, deserted abbeys.

The hotel was ok for the price, some of the staff appear to have a lack of interest in there jobs especially the young lady in breakfast this morning there was no glass cups for cold drinks no orange juice left no bread for toasting milk empty in coffee machine and had to be told as she just kept walking past the tables not cleared and she was very load when communicating with kitchen staff the breakfast itself was very nice.

The bed I had was harder than I’m used to so that was a bit of a let down. As for breakfast it was help yourself. Fine for things like cereals, yoghurt, fruit juice and toast, but not for cooked food. That should be cooked to order not put out and kept warm for an hour or two. The eggs were really tough.
