This charming two bedroom cedar cabin is nestled on six beautifully wooded acres overlooking a picturesque half-acre pond. Enjoy the views from the back deck while soaking in the hot tub, cookout on the BBQ grill, or simply sit back and relax around the campfire. This rustic retreat has all the comforts you are looking for.

Discover all the Hocking Hills has to offer. Green Heron Cabin is conveniently located just a short drive to everywhere. Take a hike at one of the scenic state parks, kayak down the Hocking River, or explore the zip lines on a Canopy Tour if you are the adventurous type. If you want to take it a little easier, shopping at one of the many artisan and antique stores, dining at a local restaurant, or kicking back at an area winery are all available along the Logan corridor, just minutes from your front door.

The Green Heron is just perfect. You can see the love and care that the home owners have for this home. Super clean, adorably decorated and so comfortable. The kitchen is perfectly equipped with anything you might need. This was our second stay here and we are already looking forward to our next trip.

5 Stars – A Perfect Getaway in Hocking Hills

We just returned from an incredible stay at the Green Heron cabin, and it exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this place was thoughtfully designed for both comfort and relaxation. Nestled in the woods, it felt completely private while still being just a short drive to all the Hocking Hills trails and attractions.The cabin itself is beautifully decorated, clean, and full of cozy touches—from the plush bedding to the fully equipped kitchen. We especially loved the outdoor hot tub under the stars and the peaceful sounds of nature that surrounded us. Mornings on the deck with coffee and evenings by the firepit were absolutely perfect.Every detail was taken care of, and the hosts were responsive and kind. Whether you're looking for a romantic escape or a quiet retreat to recharge, the Green Herron cabin is a hidden gem. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Perfect Mother/Daughter getaway!

This was exactly what we needed. The cabin was super clean, stocked with everything we could have needed and so very comfortable. We relaxed in the hot tub and spent some time down by the pond painting and drawing. We both slept like babies in the comfy beds. All in all, this is the perfect place to just get away from it all. 10/10 we will be back.

Autumn Glory

This cabin was just we like. Secluded, surrounded by trees and a covered hot tub. Beautiful deck and porch and the bed upstairs was gorgeous! The autumn colors were glorious and made for some great photos. All in all, a great week!
