Find peace in nature and slower paced days here at this cabin! Relax in the hot tub or on the oversized front patio. The outdoor firepit is available all year round. Uckor's Cottage has 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom with a walk in shower. Also equipped with an interior gas fireplace and loft sitting area. Must be 21 years or older to rent.

Updated cabin. Wasn’t impressed with the cleaning. If I were the owner I would have a word with the cleaner. Could tell hot tub had sanitizer put in because of the crystals found on the edge. The tub itself could have used a scrub, on the walls there were brown rings at water line and a couple of seats had brown lower in the tub. The coffee mugs still had coffee stains in the bottom like they were not washed and just placed on the shelf. Water pressure is not very good. Has a double shower head but not enough pressure to enjoy. On our last night someone staying at the cabin down the hill drove an ATV on a trail about 20 feet behind our cabin back to their cabin. When I looked there is clearly a frequently traveled trail behind Uckor’s cottage. The cabin felt pretty secluded, but I think it’s deceptive. So be aware of that with all of the windows. I would stay there again, but personally I think the rental fee should be a little lower than what they charge.

It was relaxing for the most part

I like the modern feel of the cabin. The area was really nice but the driveway had some really bad dips and washed out ,The place itself was nice but the maintence person needs to redo the towel hooks and toilet paper roll fall off. The glass wall on the shower is really loose and scary and it was not a spa like experience because there was seriously no water pressure! we had buy a lower-pressure shower head just so we could take a shower. So that was disappointing, along with half the jets not working in the hot tub but at least the other half worked. I would only stay there again if they fixed the shower and driveway.

Great weekend away

Wonderful property just as advertised. The host communication was excellent and everything was just as you’d hope. The covered porch was perfect and great since we had some rain during our visit. We were still able to enjoy being outside. Great hot tub. If you’re looking for a quiet, dog friendly place in the Hocking Hills, this is it.

Clean and peaceful

Everything was excellent! I recall the previous reviews mentioning the water had a smell. There was NO smell at all! The cabin was fantastic! It was extremely clean and cozy! We will utilize VRBO for our next trip!

Awesome place to stay

Property is great, glad we read to bring bottled water , the well water is not good at all. Driveway needs work. But other than that it was amazing. Definitely would book again

Fantastic cabin in Hocking Hills

Everything was as advertised. Very clean, well accommodated and a great location in a beautiful area. It was perfect for a getaway with our canine companion. The road up is a little rough, four wheel drive highly recommended but no big deal. It was a great stay.

Awful Water

My husband and I went for a couples getaway. It was a lovely 2 nights. The pictures are exactly as is. It was the perfect size for 2 people. We were disappointed in the lack of “extras”. There was only 1 hook to hang all our wet bath towels, hot tub towels, and bathing suits. We had stuff everywhere trying to dry. There is no washer and dryer. There was 1 dish towel to do dishes. My number 1 problem was the awful hard water. I know they can’t help that, but there could be a water softener. It turned my blonde hair orange and I had to come home and get a hair treatment at a salon after washing my hair with Dawn for 2 days. I know this all sounds frivolous, but small simple extras would have helped.

Wonderful getaway

My wife and I stayed here for our first getaway in quite sometime and we were not disappointed. The cottage was located in a beautiful, remote location but only 20 min from anything we needed or wanted to do. The accommodations were modern and comfortable. The WiFi worked well. The relatively new gas grill fired up the first time. The hot tub was wonderful. The large front porch and the fire pit were both perfect for relaxing and taking in the beautiful surroundings. One thing to keep in mind if you stay here is the cottage is supplied by well water so be prepared for the not-so-great odor and stains in the shower and the dishwasher that come along with it. So bring bottled water to drink, use for making coffee, brushing teeth, etc. No use in complaining about it, nothing can be done about it so relax and enjoy everything else.

Don’t take a showere as Sulfur smell is Horrific…2 shower heads but only one works. Floor under other shower head is discolored rustic orange.I needed to take shower morning after to get chlorine off of me.I have Very dry skin.Otherwise, place was good

Cute and cozy

The cabin is adorable. It was perfect for two adults and our dog. The fireplace was a great feature, too! A few things we would have wanted to know ahead of time: (1) the cabin has well water and (2) the driveway up to the cabin is very steep. If it has been raining or snowing, I’m not sure I would have been comfortable diving up there. It’s better to use a bigger car if you have one.

Fun getaway

The property matched the pictures and the area was quiet and secluded. Everything worked as it should. One thing to note that is not the fault of the property, is that the internet is very slow here due to it being so secluded. If you plan on watching a lot of tv or movies, it will buffer a lot or just not play them. Also, bring bottled water as the water here isn’t great due to the location. Overall, it was a great stay and the property lived up to the listing
