Great Budget Option

We were looking for a hotel with easy access to Gatwick Airport and we were very happy with our stay here. The check in staff was friendly, the room was clean and you are very close to anything you would need. The train station is right across the street.

Basic facilities meant cost factor made it affordable. Staff accommodated basic necessities for hygiene efficiently If you just need somewhere to rest and in addition. keep busy elsewhere ( shopping , visiting , sightseeing then save money on simple accommodation needs.

It's a straightforward hotel. Easy on the budget and accessible to anything. A good cleaning and deodorizing will make it better though. Since a smell of smoke cigar is overwhelming in my room.

If someone enter the hotel with a bag in the shoulder, straight away you will be asking are you a delivery person. Isnt it? Never disrespect anybody because of your judgemental attitude.

Felt very unsafe in this area. Went to get dinner around was put in a very unsafe situation that could have ended badly. Would not recommend. Very far from the city and paying for the train is not worth it. Just book in the city. Not worth the money. Room was very dirty. Not clean at all. Mold in the bathrooms. Brown stains on the toilet. Please be safe!

Travelodge, which is priced similarly to EasyHotels, offers significantly better quality. The window frames at the one in Croydon are very old, providing poor insulation. The air conditioning unit is subpar and the room extremely small. However, the staff are friendly and welcoming.

It was giving prison mixed with hospital vibes from the ambiance , no side tables in the room or a bin in the toilet or kettle or wardrobe. Just good if you’re going for the night to just sleep, nothing more.

Overpriced to be classed as budget

The room is literally just a bed & a TV. No bedside tables, no lamp no chair ect. I know it's Budget- but is really no lighting behind the bedframe or somewhere to put a bottle of water or my phone when charging to much to ask when paying over £100 still?! Lol. The window was also very dodgy - the curtain was actually blowing whilst it was shut so the room overall was pretty cold! Cons - Room a bit cold due to windows not sealed properly. No bedside table. Small shower room meaning once you've showered you need to pop shoes on to go in the bathroom or get wet socks as no bath matt is supplied. Super firm bed & flat pillows. No mirror in the bedroom & no plug sockets near the bathroom so straightening hair hard work Pro's - Close to the train station. Shower pressure decent. Overall the room was clean. Bodywash/soap dispenser in the bathroom. Lighting in the bathroom good. Plus sockets at each side of the bed.
