Here are the positives…the location is great! And they held onto our bags until check-in time. When we returned, we were given a room in the basement that was extremely cold. And the heater in the room didn’t work. We were brought space heaters, which did work but the bathroom closet and shower closet doors automatically lose so they remained frigid for the duration. Because of the space heaters, we were left with one working electrical outlet; the ones of the office desk didn’t function. And I nearly forgot to mention the pile of trash that was directly in front of our door when we arrived. It was finally removed after I asked them to do so. So, not terrible but I wouldn’t book again.

Disappointing. Small, dark room with the shower cubicle in the bedroom. No dead lock on the door & very poor lighting. Fire alarm was activated and felt the staff had little idea what to do.

dark room mirrors were dark... fire alarm went off from an iron? at 10pm i am am a single female staying on the ground floor on the road next to a pub in central london with NO DOUBLE LOCK?! never in my life had a been to a hotel like that. i asked to move rooms, couldn't be done. didn't sleep a wink, as felt so uncomfortable shower is in a cupboard toilet door slammed shut fridge (empty) made weird noises check in process was awful person who was checking us in was nice, but unfortunately there was a smell of BO from her that went around the hotel (aware she couldn't control this, but smell on entrance creates a feel)

Additional *fees* were charged at checkin on top of the prepaid rooms and damage deposit. The man on the checkin desk said the extra would be refunded right away, yet this was a lie as later on I was informed by another member of staff it has to be written up and then signed off by aanager to then be refunded in 3-5 days

We have stayed quite a few times abs as always the staff and the room were great. The check in has been changed now and to be honest it's hopeless, we were quung out the door to use the single ipad check in, it used to be so good but now you check yourself in on an ipad which is a pain, you can't see the staff as they are hidden away. A great shame and definatly has reduced our scoring of the hotel.

Stayed in room B17 and unfortunately had a really poor experience. Our room was right next to the staff room, and there was constant banging and loud noise throughout the night, making it impossible to sleep. The carpet was filthy, and the room itself was so dark and gloomy. It honestly felt like an afterthought — tucked away down in the basement, through a locked back door and past the staff area. When I mentioned our bad experience to a staff member, the only gesture offered was a bottle of water, which felt quite inadequate given how much we paid for two nights. On the positive side, the bed was comfortable and the location is excellent, especially if you're visiting the Hammersmith Apollo. But overall, I left feeling disappointed and wouldn’t stay here again.
