Small, clean room. No refrigerator. No ice machine on the same floor as room. In fact, according to the information sheet provided at check in desk, the ice machines are located in a neigboring hotel.

The bathrooms in the 2 bedroom have no privacy at all, verry loud night club music untill about 11-12 every night. They WILL charge security deposit more than once with out notice.

I’ve stayed at the property before and had a great experience. This time around wasn’t terrible but definitely could be better. We arrived about 30 minutes before check in, which we knew and had planned to have a drink at the bar. The front desk informed us only one of our rooms was ready at check in time at 4:00, I said that’s ok, as long as if the other one was ready by 5:00 at the latest because we needed to get ready for our dinner reservation. Our second room was available after 5:00, which was annoying because we had to rush to get ready and get to dinner. One of our rooms A/C was stuck at 68, which for how small the rooms were, makes the air very still and stagnant and warm. We called to ask to have it adjusted but the front desk said they could check with an engineer to fix it, but nothing ever came of it. Our other room was able to get down to 66 and felt a lot better. And the room had a master light switch, we couldn’t just turn on one light, all the lights had to go on at once. Not the most convenient when you have to pee in the middle of the night. In the rooms with two queen beds, be prepared to have absolutely no privacy with the bathrooms, literally the sink is in the room and if you want to take a shower, you’d have to get undressed in the hallway and then get in the shower, with bad frosted glass.

I like how it have different restaurants bars and I’m the hotel. But I dislike that we had no fridge on our room and it was so small in there . And when we got there Saturday night the power went out for like a hour didnt have time to get ready for my reservation

LA open IBJF tournament

We were there for a jiu-jitsu tournament and the staff was very accommodating to our needs. Customer Service was great. It was an adventure staying at the hotel very modern. Would’ve liked to have a fridge and a coffee maker in the room but other than that, we had a great time and plan to visit again.

Such a comfy night at the Moxy! Deanna at reception made our stay extra special and made sure we had a pretty view (although there is no bad view from the Moxy). We had a great time at level 8 and loved just sitting in the window watching the busy streets of LA.
