I had a good experience at this old hotel. The manager and employees, especially the maids, were first-rate. The manager needs to replace the old sofa and coffee table with a table with two chairs so the guests can eat their food properly.

Very, very noisy...I was there for 3 nights, same issue each night...I had to put on 'white noise' from the internet over my phone or computer to try to block out the noise that carries all through the floor from any other guests laughing or talking loudly in their nearby rooms, sometimes even from rooms way down the hall, and anyone walking above me came through the floor pretty loudly, so the insulation is very poor. Even the maid service never cared, and laughed and talked very loudly with the doors open of the rooms they were cleaning. I am a very late night person...I perform standup comedy and music, and usually on the road I don't get to sleep until 3AM or later, so I'm still trying to sleep often when the maid service is starting around 9 or 10AM. I had to tell management that they need to let their maid service know they have a sound insulation issue so they can be mindful of this and at least shut the door of the rooms they are cleaning if they are going to want to entertain each other with loud conversation, etc.

Quiet and clean place, conveniently located near the airport and the Rose Bowl. The staff were kind enough to let us park our car even after our stay, which was really helpful. Great experience overall!

Stayed here for a weekend and was pleased with the experience. The room was well-kept with a comfy bed, clean floors, and a sleek bathroom. The shower worked great, and towels were fresh. Staff at the reception were polite . The hotel is tucked away from the busy streets, so it felt peaceful. Connectivity and transportation options were nearby. This place focuses on the basics and gets them right. No clutter, no noise, no stress just a smooth, clean, and quiet environment to rest in. Would happily book again for a short trip.

I really enjoyed my stay at this small, no-frills hotel. Though they don’t serve breakfast, it wasn’t an issue at all there are many nice cafés nearby, and the front desk had great local tips. The room was clean, quiet, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay, including strong Wi-Fi and a cozy bed. The staff were lovely and always willing to help with directions or suggestions. I appreciated the calm and relaxed atmosphere it felt like a peaceful retreat after exploring the city. If you're looking for a safe, well-located hotel with great value and friendly service, this is an excellent option. I’d definitely recommend it to friends or solo travelers.
