Wonderful family who runs this property. Everything is clean and tidy. There is a small boat—a 2 minute walk—that takes you across the river to avoid the mile long walk. Clean hotel!

We spent 5 nights in Luang Prabang and the Phonepraseuth Guesthouse was perfect for our visit. Mr. Kim suggested places to visit and went above and beyond even driving us to the airport. A nice hotel and a friendly staff. Despite their english not being the best, they were always very helpful. The only thing we noticed was some ants in the bathroom and the shower being a bit old. The fan in the bathroom is quite loud. The location of the hotel is very good, not in a noisy neighborhood, and pretty close to the city. Most things are within walking distance, but you can also rent a bike or a moped (for pretty cheap) and the staff will help you with everything.

We enjoyed staying on the far side of the river from town. Very quiet and relaxing. Exceptionally clean guest house which is a very good value for the money. The staff could not be more accommodating or friendlier. Really, really wonderful people.
