This gîte is composed of three bedrooms, a kitchen, a sitting room, a dining room, a shower room, a bathroom and two toilets. TOURIST ATTRACTIONS: in the heart of the Parc Naturel de la Forêt d'Orient (proctected site), bathing in the lake, walks, cycling or roller skating on the greenway, fishing, excursions in the nature, sailing, discovering the Forêt d'Orient, visits to Troyes, museums, walks in the heart of the Champagne vineyards with a Champagne tasting, shopping in the factory outlets. On site, in the village, you will find all the essential servics such as grocery, bakery, butcher, pharmacy, doctors and nurses. "Au Clos de Marie" is ground level, timber framed detached house that has room for six people. This gîte is idealy situated in peaceful area and boasts a Champenoise architecture in harmony with the landscape and standing in large fenced and tree studded garden, 2 minutes from the "lac d'Orient" and the forests, by the Vélovoie, 15 minutes from Troyes.

Very pretty property

Garden and outside eating area superb. Host does NOT speak English and does NOT respond to emails. Dark inside but charming. No towels provided, minimum toilet rolls, no additional refuse sacs, unsuitable cooking pans, no instructions on use of cooker. Internet excellent. Village (walking distance) excellent. Local lake excellent. A restful time.

Gite tres agréable et bien situé mais cher en hiver avec électricité

Jolie longère dans le style champenois à la décoration soignée. Idéalement situé à la lisière du lac d’Orient et à 20 minutes de Troyes. La village est petit mais tous les commerces utiles sont présents. Le gros bémol concerne l'électricité à payer en supplément, qui rend le rapport qualité prix beaucoup moins safisfaisant, même si la location est un peu moins chère en hiver... Ça reste bien supérieur à d'autres gîtes du même type que nous avons l'habitude de louer sur la même période. De plus, cette facturation manque de transparence. En effet, nous n'avons d'autre choix que de faire confiance au propriétaire car nous n'avons jamais eu accès au compteur.

Bonnes vacances dans cette belle maison confortable avec un grand jardin

Belle maison confortable, beau et grand jardin pour le plus grand bonheur de nos 4 enfants, avec commerces alimentaires à proximité ainsi que les voies cyclables permettant de faire de belles balades à vélo jusqu'au lac, très bel endroit avec tout type d activités pour les enfants, nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances...
