Close to world class golf courses, Red Shoe Pub, scenic hiking trails, beautiful beaches, Celtic music, marina, Glenora Distillery, good restaurants etc. Wonderful location for family reunions with large backyard. Come to stay and you will be happy you visited Mabou and will want to return.

Great home base for a Cape Breton visit

This is a great house, with tons of space. Ample indoor dining and living space was augmented by a pleasant yard. Easy to find, within walking distance of a grocery and coffee stand, across from the famed Red Shoe, this was also a good homebase for visits to west coast beaches (and sunsets) the national park and other island attractions. Host is kind and friendly, as were the neighbors. All in all - a wonderful experience. I hope we can return some day.
