Come discover this former oil mill, tastefully renovated into a self-contained gîte located in the heart of the village on the same property as its managers. Michel, a farmer and livestock breeder, will be happy to share his work with you and introduce you to milking at his farm, located 300m from the gîte.
2 km away, you can explore the village of Fondremand with its castle, its mill, the Source de la Romaine at the foot of the castle, and its washhouse. On the ground floor, you will find a kitchen opening onto a living room equipped with a large corner sofa and a flat-screen TV. A dining table adjoins the fully equipped kitchen (induction hob, oven, refrigerator with freezer compartment, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker and espresso machine, kettle, tea maker). Wi-Fi internet access. Separate toilet. The upper floor consists of a bedroom equipped with a 140 x 190 cm double bed and a 90 x 190 cm single bed. You'll also find a second bedroom with a 160 x 200 cm bed, a separate toilet, and a bathroom with a heated towel rail and washing machine. A baby cot and high chair (upon request) are also available, as well as board games.
The private terrace adjoining the cottage welcomes you with its garden furniture, barbecue, and sun loungers. The owners' garden is also accessible. A ping-pong table, pétanque and badminton sets, and a children's play structure (slide, swing, and climbing wall) are at your disposal.
In the village, you'll find a tennis court, access to the river for fishing, a soccer field, a children's playground, a pétanque court, and the Santiago de Compostela trail.
For your comfort, bed linen and towels are provided. Heating charges are included. End-of-stay cleaning: €70/stay.
Private parking is available inside the property, next to the cottage. The upstairs bedrooms are not accessible to people with mobility disabilities.
