Spacious rooms with stunning views. Nice kitchen with Nespresso espresso machine. Large kitchen table where we ate meals and played cards. Radiators in all of the rooms kept us warm. The neighborhood was quiet but we did have transmitted sounds from the flat downstairs. We had a car for part of our stay which we parked immediately behind the property in a decent sized free lot. With the car we were easily able to get to Lugano & Mont Bre, Parco Valentino - Piani Resinelli, and found parking in Lecco when we went into town. The days we didn't have a car we stayed closer to the flat as it sits high on the hill and is a fairly steep climb. We did take the forest path to the Eurospin which was a nice walk. Of note, if you take an Uber (to the train station for instance) leave extra time as our driver had trouble getting to the property. He said the Uber map takes an unrealistic route and he had to figure out another way to get to the property. The Wi-Fi was somewhat inconsistent and we were glad to have a esim. The guest registration was a bit cumbersome and was released very close to the time for check in so that part of it we could do just before leaving home and some we had to do in the airport. There was a system error that caused some issues but it was resolved very quickly once I pointed it out. In general the communication was somewhat less than other properties we have stayed at but was sufficient for our needs. Enjoyed our stay!

2 Stars but this property has potential and can be improved

This is a tough review to write because we had a really awful experience due to the property management company but the house is quite nice - though not totally as advertised. While properties typically share check in info a week out, this company did not give us check in instructions until 5pm on the DAY OF our check in. We tried to reach the management company with no responses (called - only spoke Italian and hung up on me and the VRBO employee, emailed, texted). We finally booked a hotel since we had no place to stay. Finally, at 5pm (3 hours after the advertised check in time), they emailed me check in info. They never used the VRBO app. despite using it 3 days before for my security deposit, tax and foreign guest check in info. We decided to go since we had the house for the next three days and I didn't feel like fighting for a refund with a company that was non-communicative. Know that this is not a single occupancy home. There are permanent residents living downstairs and the noise (talking, yard work, cupboards slamming) were pretty constant. We thought we had the entire home upon booking.The house is on a gorgeous property and the house was clean and very comfortable. (Summer of 2025 - the house next door is under renovation so expect construction noise all day. Not this properties fault, obviously.)Note: VRBO was incredibly helpful as we navigated this stressful experience.

Hier wil je altijd wonen

Dit huis maakt je vakantie tot een geniet-moment. Alles schoon, netjes en heel ruim. Heerlijk zoveel ruimte, alles staat klaar zelfs flesjes water en een insectenkaars. Een huis met wasmachine, strijkijzer, centraal stofzuigersysteem en meerdere badkamers. Dit is echt een kadootje. Aanrader voor een gezin, maar ook super voor 1 gezin + 1 stel of 3 echtparen. Er is zoveel ruimte, sanitair en privacy daar is dit huis echt geschikt voor.
