Room was good, as was hotel in general My biggest issue was reception and check in. Incorrect / no information given on facilities. Was never told breakfast finished at 9.30am. We missed our sitting and wad told by the manager that we would not be given a refund as it was down to Expedia. Also changed our evening plans as we were told that the bar shut at 11 pm. When we got back at midnight it was still open. Also, reception could not give any information on the nearest police station as my phone had been stolen other than "there is definitely one around somewhere" Hotel is fine, well located and good value, customer care not so great

Lovely and friendly staff - we went early to see if we could leave our bags and were offered a free early check in ( I understand this option may not always be available but it was lovely to freshen up also before exploring!) The room was perfect - spacious with a lovely seating area also with tea,coffee and a fridge

The receptionist was helpful despite having issues checking in, due to an error on my part when booking the room. He allowed us to check in an hour early which was handy. Room was clean the bed was extremely comfortable (from what i remember)

The room that we had booked wasn’t correct, we had paid more for a family room and that wasn’t what we had been provided. When we had queued to check out and discuss our issues and we were told just to put our key in the box. The room was dated/worn and could have done with some maintenance being completed, in addition the carpet was not especially clean when we arrived. Overpriced for what it was.
