I was very disappointed with the level of service that I received at this hotel.
I booked this hotel through Expedia because it was a good value and it was recommended online for solo travels.
However, my experience was far from what I was expecting. Firstly, this hotel is not for foreign tourists. When I arrived and throughout my stay the lobby was constantly packed with people in the lobby. At first I thought it was because there was a convention going on, this issue remained throughout the duration of my stay. Because of this, there was often no space to relax in the lobby while waiting for taxis or just for leisure. Additionally, because the lobby was always busy, the front desk customer service suffered. I tried calling the front desk and even concierge several times from my room, and only very few occasions did they pick up.
Even when I arrived, the staff working the front desk were rude and were not very helpful in answering my questions about eSIMs and questions about directions.
The buffet breakfast was also disappointing, it was about $16 (USD) and for that price there was a severe lack of options. The options that they did have were not up to quality that I would expect.
In regards to the rooms, the rooms were small, but that was something I was expecting and I did not mind because it was only me. The restroom in the hotel room left a lot to be desired. The restroom is in need of a serious renovation. The shower felt old and not as clean as I would like. It
