In southern Småland, you’ll find this incredibly charming traditional cottage. Built in the 1800s and lovingly renovated by the owners to maintain its authentic historic charm, it offers spacious and cozy accommodation—ideal for a large family or even two families traveling together and looking to share the cost. The cottage is located in a peaceful and scenic setting, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the tranquility of nature, including the cheerful song of birds.

Inside, you'll find a cozy kitchen, a large renovated fully-tiled bathroom, and a spacious living room. There are three bedrooms: one with a double bed and a single bed, one with two bunk beds, and a third with two single beds—making it suitable for up to 9 guests. One of the bedrooms also has a small bed suitable for a child. There is also access to a sauna.



Things to See and Do in Markaryd and the Surrounding Area

If you’d like to go swimming, there are bathing spots both in Strömsnäsbruk and Markaryd. Markaryd also has an indoor swimming pool, while Strömsnäsbruk features an outdoor pool during summer, including a children's pool.

Nearby, you can also visit the Markaryd Moose Safari, where you can experience not only moose but also bison up close. A trip to Älmhult is also a great option, where you can visit the IKEA Museum or explore the Enlinge Moose Park.
