Mandowa Beach Forest & Cottages - D

“Dália” (studio on the base level) is part of Mandowa Beach Forest and Cottages and is a beautiful self-catering accommodation that is a short walk from Macaneta Beach, just 30 km north of Maputo.


The interior of Dália features an open-concept design, combining the double bedroom, kitchen, and common area into a single spacious and airy area. The minimalist decor and natural materials create an atmosphere of peace and serenity. The walk-in shower is barrier-free for a greater sense of liberty, while the toilet is in an enclosed compartment.


The perfect place to relax! It can accommodate up to 4 Guests, with 1 double bed and the addition of 2 mattresses. Dália has a fully equipped kitchen, including a gas stove, electric oven, refrigerator, dining counter and all necessary utensils – in addition, it has a comfortable veranda, private parking and a garden.


There is also a swimming pool, a dining area with a small barbecue near the pool, and a tennis court - these spaces are accessible and in common use for Guests of Mandowa Beach Forest & Cottages.


Guests have access to all areas within the open-space room - and of course the beautiful beach, which is just a ten-minute walk away. However, outdoor spaces within the Premises are shared by all Mandowa Beach Forest & Cottages Guests.

4x4 is not necessary to reach our Facilities. However, it is recommended, as this way you will be able to explore Macaneta better. After reaching the Macaneta roundabout and turning towards Mandowa Beach Forest & Cottages, the paved road ends and you will drive for 10 to 15 minutes on a sandy road. We've had several customers with small cars who have also gotten there.


If you book our Facilities we will send you an interactive map and instructions for the easiest route with the least deep trails.


There are markets on the way to Macaneta and some restaurants near our Facilities. However, please bring supplies - the best option is to shop in Maputo or Matola before arriving in Macaneta. The open-space room has tap water, hot water and a generator to keep the electricity running, but we recommend that you bring bottled drinking water for consumption.

Mandowa Beach Forest & Cottages - D offers its guests an outdoor pool, barbecue grills, and a garden. The front desk is open around the clock.
