This location is our family’s favorite go to in NY. The staff is beyond welcoming, the breakfast top notch, and location is very convenient. Rooms always meet our needs!
The room and bathroom were clean, beds and pillows comfortable, fridge nice and cold. Heater was finicky. Shower was hot. Plenty of towels and hangers. The soap and shampoos in the pumps were not fragrant at all. Bring your own, if that’s important to you. We were on the first floor so could easily hear people talking as they walked by our room. Staff were friendly. Morning breakfast was average quality for this type of hotel. The room had two beds which took up most of the space, but we were only there for one night so no big deal. Would stay again.
Smell of mould in room. Conditioner container was empty. Coffe machine was missing a part so couldn’t use it. No thermostat.
Also door had a sizeable gap that let in draft and noise.
First room the toilet wouldn’t stop running. Sent us to a different room & toilet barely flushed, couches were stained & dirty. I had to take a cold shower b/c the hot water wasn’t working. Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at.

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service
I checked in very late Thursday evening 10/23 at appx midnight after visiting someone at a nearby hospital. I was blasted with a 6am wakeup call which I never requested on the room phone AND THEN AGAIN at 7am. When I made it to the front desk Friday morning, the receptionist just said "Oh I am so sorry, that was meant for the room next to you"...... I was very unhappy and rattled considering the context of my evening. I hope Best Western can offer restitution for this inconsiderate error.
